Content Update 2.1.0 Patch Notes

I was planning on making a sweep build nut guess I'll give Lightning Strike a try.
Be nice if the visuals were toned down a bit to look like lightning tendrils; at the moment it looks like I'm shooting out fat blue caterpillars.
can someone provide a reason why blood dance life regen got nerfed to half?

From new talisman skilltree i cant see any boost in regen nodes - esp for the right treesiders. Only thing that coms to my mind is a new unique that adds similar liferegen - (or the combio with essence drain is too op, but mho very unlikely combo)

To start - GGG, really hyped for this patch. Good work.

On a community standpoint, aside from the few negative nellys you will always get, the community seems very happy this time around.

The topic of stash tabs causing PoE to be P2W always seems to rear its ugly head, and though this post most likely will not have any absurd affect, I'll voice my opinion anyhow.

You can't give people infinite stashes because then people would complain that they can't find anything and make it GGG's fault. They need to make money guys. Stash tabs are another way to do so. You CAN play the ENTIRE game with 4 stashes, so yes, it is f2p. Stop whining about how it isn't. This dev team is easily the most caring and community involved I've ever experienced. They charge nothing for such a great game and you're complaining? Spend $10 if it's so important to you.

The only other alternative is gaining stash tabs through playing. Every character you get to maps you gain one, or something of the sorts? This would ultimately allow people to get the stash tabs without the whining, eliminating any doubt of the game being f2p. I think it is 100% unnecessary and people who spend countless hours to complain about a small fee for QoL.

So you nerfed Vaal Ground Slam and Chill of corruption. It was already expensive to get that build finished. GGG always destroying what they highlight...

I love all the changes except for some changes to the right side of the tree..
I don't agree with all the reddit complains about life, though it would be nice to see more defensive choises on that side.

My main concern is with rangers going melee. It used to be evasion + life and attack speed(leading up to accuracy and proj dmg.) which was really nice for both melee and bow users. Now you only got one choise for melee ranger and the nieche attack speed bonus we used to have is gone, so marauder or duelist is better for almost any melee build.
Can you please change it back so the start point is attack speed again, leading into a choise of projectiles, accuracy or speed for the first wheel and than back to bow/proj nodes as it is.
It would keep the nieche melee specs as a ranger and also make it more of a choise between the classes.
Also Im against the accuracy node after the first evasion + life and melee dmg wheel(ranger), it should be a choise and not forced upon you, otherwise RT rangers get even one more drawback making melee rangers even more worthless.
Last thing about the ranger part is the life wheel connecting to one hand wheel and the movement + attack speed path. Why aint it mirrored with the right side wheel? Making it connect with the bottom line/path so someone that dont wanna make bad choise would pick the evasion + onslaught + attack dmg wheel up(also it would make the world of wraeclast a bit more comfortable for sword users.).

Theese changes Im suggesting would also make alot more sense for the upcoming "Raider" subclass(Ascendancy classes) that is melee on the backround picture and also has the specialization of "Avatars"(onslaught effect, frenzys, speed and avoidance) which makes the nieche about melee rangers stand out even more(sure, it will be rly good with bow/ranged aswell but thats not a concern.).

Please GGG! I know youre listening. Dont take away our bonus attack speed and replacing it with a worthless stat.. if you desperately wanna change it make it something of use at least, though speed seeme to be the most thematic and it dont make any change for bow users, proj dmg only punishes melee.

Last thing is about the Shadow start, why is the proj dmg node on the Ev+Es wheel only connected with Es making it mandatory for taking that node? Most proj users dont have a choise when in that part of the tree making it feel really stupid(though its often ur best choise) for non Es users. In the same wheel the big Es+Ev node now gives life, what?? Why??? It would make alot more sense and also making a big chunk of the community happier if it were a 3 paths wheel with the life in there seperated from the Es, while ur at it u can balance it good by deleting the 3 new paths out of the wheel connecting to the leech and jewel socket.


Otherwise everything looks so awesome its unbelivable. I cant wait to try out the new skills, Ive wanted some warlock/necro like skills for a long while now and its finally here! I love the Rigwald Talisman Challenge set, its brilliant!

Is this instead of quantity bonus, an addition or do I misunderstand something here?


Monsters with "bursty" skills have had this cooldown applied to reduce player deaths from fast, hard-to-predict damage. 

Armour buff? Hehe ;)
