This info has been known for a long time that selling a set of unid's yields 2 Chaos Orbs. I get a strong feeling reading your post that you're just jealous and want to get these people in trouble. (that obviously includes a DEV playing and enjoying this game together with a known streamer)

I have no affiliation to any of these people but this post just leaves me with a nasty taste in my mouth.

The entire goal of this post is to expose the information to the general public, allowing for profit while the method still functions. I myself face vastly restricted playtime this week due to work, and will not in any way pursue farming.

Given Chris' comments in the Reddit thread, the mechanics will soon be changed. My comments regarding Neonspyder's involvement are solely intended to present a contrast in opinion to Chris' existing argument that secret strategies should not be exposed, and justify the (potentially limited) point of creating this thread.

Then why mention Neospyder 5 times? Why not create a post on every vendor recipe to make it known to the general public? Ooh wait, there is already a post wih vendor recipes stickied in the forum.

This recipe does not pay off, for the amount of time it takes to find the needed unid accessories.

You seem to be seeking an argument for no apparent reason. I answered both questions already.

I mentioned Neonspyder to provide basis for my opinion that runs counter to that of the lead developer, as expressed on Reddit.

The thread itself focuses on only one recipe because it is being used by the very top tier of players as part of a farming strategy which involves killing normal mode bosses. This runs counter to my intuition, and likely that of many others. If you can claim that you anticipated players over level 85 farming normal mode for efficient currency generation, that's great; however, I'm sure that the strategy is still a surprise to a large portion of the player base.

Work calls; by all means, continue to post, as I welcome your opinions. Unfortunately, I will be unable to respond for a few hours.

do all act bosses drop the same quantity?

can piety be reset from her portal?

I used to farm ribbon bosses in solaris 3 since they take around 2 mins and cost no portal scrolls before merveil but her quantity trumps theirs. if there is anything faster then 2 min merveil runs please let me know

Just checked how fun this is. After 30 minutes i filled 4 stash tabs with junk. 1 rare ring, 1 rare belt. No amulets. Very luckluster imo.

EDIT - found 100% rarity unique boots. Apparently they are more common than rare amulets ;)

This really isn't possible to abuse. But that doesn't mean the recipe has a point.

Rare Amulets seem to drop less than Uniques. Making it really hard to do so.

What higher level player is going to not identify a rare amulet or ring? I mean unless it's trash base roll.

You get very little to no currency. You have no chance of map drops. Say if you farm Docks and 1 GCP or a quality gem drops. You just made equivalent of how many normal runs?

The only things I don't like are a GGG employee telling players how best to farm the rare rings/ammies and streamers being hush hush about it to their subscribers.

Well, those numbers are from PARTY play...so if they get 4 chaoses thats not even 1 per player
