Hacked Accounts

Personally, I don't use my PC for any Internet browsing unless I absolutely must look at the skill tree on PoE or update a trade thread. On top of that, I use anti virus, and I change all my passwords a lot (making them random letters and numbers, and long). I only browse the Internet on my phone. Hopefully this will help me in regard to hacking.
Also, never click on any pop up windows or adds. EVER. so today i got disconnected from the game and got the msg "someone else logged in to your account", now obviously thats not something i like to see. Ofcourse i changed my password but i wonder what happened to the account locking thing when someone else tries to log in to it?

Every time I try and log in it keeps forcing me to check me e-mail for authorization codes. Even though I am using the same network. I am plugged in via ethernet so I don't get why it keeps prompting this. Also, after updating after beta the game brings the code prompt but does not send me an e-mail. At all. So now I am just locked out of the game and I have no idea why. Was working fine yesterday and I can log on here no problem, but how can I get into the game when the client is not sending the code to my e-mail so that I may use it to enter the game?
any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks ahead of time. |

" Hi there, You need to email support@grindinggear.com and get them to help you with email code issue. The game does the lock down for the code based on IP address changes so for some reason it sounds like your IP address has been changing a lot on you. Have you checked your spam folders for the GGG emails? Your emails provider may be filtering them out before they reach your inbox. Also I know there was an issue with certain email address providers (thinking yahoo?) but I can't remember exactly - pretty sure no one has issues with GMail, maybe look into changing your email address to see if it fixes the not recieving the email issue.
