Act 8 Doedre the Vile fight is utter garbage

okay so i struggled with the fight so hard then i found like a super cheesy way for me that worked so easily.

like i literally just stayed in green mode the entire fight, facetank her while holding down 1 button for a minute, fight over while being afk.
This is basically what I've starting doing with melee characters. Face tank her while in green mode, down flasks as needed, and keep swinging until she falls over.

It's simple and relatively safe.
Now that prestige classes will finally leave lab in 4.0, will GGG get it right this time or will they find new ways to repeat old mistakes?
many have fallen for the cheese intel you have just recieved.

seriously though, is the valve and the red bubbles of death still there? i wouldnt want to rip in such a meaningless way again or, have another player experience the same first-time doedre experience.
cant believe what ive read in this thread.
this boss is just learning by doing...nothing else.
and thats great!
Just did this fight. I'm loving the game so far, but this fight against Doedre was pretty much garbage. From what i understand, almost everyone who had trouble was a ranger, just like me.
Shame really. Seemed that buried under all the trash noise was a decent fight with some decent mechanics.

Whoever decided that was the right speed needs their head examined. Great fight made zerg dumb by some idiot.

To be honest, this is the optimal way to fight all bosses in the game.

So please tell us, ranger who had troubles, is this passive tree a trolling or do you seriously believe that you have rights to say "gaem is unreasonably hard" with such passive tree?
Spoiler
Remember, suffering is convenient.
That is why many people prefer it.
Happiness requires effort.
Agree. Insanely hard. I play soft, and this is my first run through. I rarely die. With him I often died as soon as I entered (I kept entering on top of him), or before I even saw where he was, while running and dodging. I must have died 5 times before I got him - and then had to read this thread. Very unhappy with this boss - but as i have loved the rest of the game I will probably carry on. Depends on the penalty for the next level. Not a problem I have faced before.

I was so frustrated that I closed the game down, read this thread and felt compelled, for the first time ever, to add a post.
