So with China giving you all the resources you need, you can lower the outlandish MTX prices, right? And afford servers that don't make you unnecessarily nerf things like AoE, CoC, creative builds like Wormblaster, sextants, elder rings, etc.?

THIS ! Bring back those things since now you can afford better servers !
we'll see

People are funny, most people here buy stuff made by children, underpaid people in some Asian country. Just because you ignore it / pretend to not being aware doesn't make it less true.

Stop being so pretentious and acting holy.

Feels like the game is no longer GGG's game.
They just sold it.

I'am sorry. But i lost my faith.

I bet that this will happen as did with blizzard . From good to casual and aiming for your $.

Time will tell.....

What about : "Where is my money going when i m buying my supporter pack now?"

-----> =)
There goes my supporter pack purchases.

Fastforward 2 years, Chris leaves GGG to start a new company to develop games with freedom.
I am saddened to hear about this development. I have enjoyed Path of Exile for several years now, and had been willing to invest money in a game that I have greatly enjoyed. However, I cannot continue to invest any money in a game that is run by Tencent, and so therefore will not be purchasing any more microtransactions or supporter packs so long as Tencent has a majority stake in Grinding Gear Games.

I hope that the changes that will inevitably destroy the game in the idea of making this a pay to win game to make as much money as possible for Tencent will not arrive for several years, but we all know they're coming, and there's nothing GGG can do about it anymore.

I do understand that the developers need to eat, to have places to live, and to support their families. That's why I bought supporter packs and points for microtransactions, even if that aside from the bonus points from supporter packs, the price was a bit steep. I loved the game, and know that GGG is working within a tight margin, especially as the game is free of charge.

I wish they had made a different decision, so I could keep supporting the game by buying microtransactions and supporter packs. But with this decision, GGG, I will not be investing another red cent into the game.
