I play one char per league, 2h per day tops. I would like to kill Maven, Uber-Elder, Atziri and many other end-game bosses. But I can't. Not only because of "power gate" - that can be passed going with well described build - but when you are able to encounter boss only few times per league (max 2x Maven encounters per league) how can I learn the mechanics? Watching videos and guides is not enough.

I also have another problem - I have partial colour blindness. Encounters like Maven, Sirius and (to some extend) Uber-Elder are not possible for me :D. It would be really cool to see what is happening without changing monitor settings just for the fight.

You do the good work, but - from "commoners" perspective chance of "cathing the rabbit" of endgame is too far to be considered fun by most. Elite - no matter the nerfs - will be elite.

the big problem here is the "commoners" expecting to clear said content instead of realizing they have neither the time nor skill to do it in a 3 month temp league time. Sounds like standard is where you should doing that since thats where your time and skill levels make such content feasible for you to do. If you refuse to play standard then you should learn to temper your wants to something you can attain like clearing all yellow maps or red maps.

you are not entitled any content.

your logic is broken GGG
you cant increase diversity by making everything trash
people dont use trash skills or trash supports cause of its numbers, they dont use it cause its uberly trash.
but i get it, you want YOUR streamers to be happy (like that thing you did last league about queue) and talk good stuff about the game.
as long as YOUR streamers are running a full party with auraboots, cursebots, with 0 points invested on defenses, crushing everything and farming 20ex/m, and talking good things about the game, you are happy.
i also get that you dont want those guys with high influence in the community saying bad things about your changes, so you make sure they are happy.

its also clear that your TENCENT way of doing business now has something to do with it: FORCE a meta, releases a bunch of CELESTIAL MTX for that meta, NERF the meta and REPEAT.

but its all good, lets see the player retention this league after a month :)

edit: thanksgod i will have something else to play after i play 3 days and quit like last league

I Agree
Atlas clusterfuck grind not touched at all. Wrist killing splinter clicking not touched at all. Nerfs and "balance" making grind even longer and longer.

Do atlas once for bonus, then do it again for awakening bonus and at the same time try being "optimal" to get all watchstones and Maven invitations. And then, just around a corner, 20-40h into a game you will finally have fun - potentially.

Sorry GGG, just no. I supported this game for a long time but already have one fulltime job. What you do is just insulting and pissing on your playerbase.

Btw, I was laughing so hard when Chriss started talking on livestream about how hard on wrists is to have flask piano:D - just about a flasks not clusterfck of splinters and useless loot (which should not drop at all cuz why waste servers calculation power)- and then chat was thinking FINALLY, 2021 is here, one button flask keybind :P HAHAHA got you paesants

I see it guys already, player retention is gonna be through the roof this league, again :).

See you in 3 months to check if they gonna figure some things out.
More Nerfs = More quit Players lol....
No problem, easy skip league and other Games much better :)

Can't wait play Lost Ark :D

I do play Standard exclusevely because I don't have time to play in league before it ends (and because it bores me to death leveling another character). Standard league has its own challenges as well (such as economy).

The issue is that the release will also affect Standadrd, making builds potentially unviable, builds you have invested time and effort to it. We'll see when the expansion is releeased.

Well i can see ggg wants us to fight bosses, and not one shot them, that is admirable, but i think the problem lies more in the boss design rather than player damage.

Most endgame bosses are designed to one shot the player unless something is dodged in case of a "normal" build anyways.

Like in maven fight for instance if you do not reach a certain amount of damage eventually you would die because of the memory game repeating over and over and the screen will eventually fill with dot circles aswell. Maven is a perfect example of a dps check boss in my opinion rather than a fight you can take slowly, which creates a scenario where building more defense is counter productive to kill maven, but rather getting more damage would make the fight easier, and this issue applies to many bosses.

And that is atleast in my opinion a problem, because i love tanky builds, but tanky builds generally are not good bossers.

What i would like to see is boss design be more suited to what ggg wants, a more prolonged boss battle, but at the current state damage is just the best and obvious answer to counter the bosses game design.

IF they want us to fight bosses shouldn't they make the fights rewarding? There is little reason to kill most bosses besides Sirius because it's just not efficient.
All I see is elitist comments saying nerf is good, and you are weak for complaining.

I don't grind all day like you do. Real life comes first

I've supported this game for a long time. The number one problem with this game right now is GGG's constant goal of dragging out stuff that people have no interest in. I have went through the campaign in POE around 60 times and I honestly couldn't tell you what the story is. I don't care about the story or the campaign. Give people a campaign if that is what they want. I just want to build a character and try new things without the fear of being punished for wasting time in a new skill that won't work in the endgame.

Just make an option for people to start at lvl 60 with some basic gear and no currency.

Remove scrolls from the game.

Just remove flasks from the game all together. Just give players five slots that they can place buffs in. If you have a flask that removes ignite then you could just make a buff do the same thing. It could be something along the lines of removing an ignite and then immune to ignite for x seconds after trigger with an x second cooldown.

Remove all splinter/shards/fragments from the game or have them drop in stacks of 5 or more.

Give us another inventory tab where loot is automatically picked up like metamorph pieces. Picking up currency isn't an experience.... it is a job.

Just make this game easier to play and it will flourish. This simple changes like this would be huge.
