Are you satisfied with the new patch's response to Trials?
" Just great, now I have to play the same room I just completed losing 500 honor... |

" Somehow I managed to reach Zarokh, I ran out of mana and pots in first 10 seconds before his shield was down, I kept fight for 10 minutes or so without mana, some basic melee attacks with charged staff, occasional bells. When he was close to %50 hp, some mechanic spawned without any information given, guess you need to collect the hourglass with -%75 speed, then I was dead with nearly 3k honor. I just wanted my talent points, just my points for my character and my build... |

Staring at the screen in front of Zarokh....
Yea fuck this, I'm done with it. I won't fight a 20 man mythic raid end boss as a single player with no mana for two talent points. |

Trials are still unbalanced for melee.
I finally ascended as quarterstaff melee, but I was forced to use raging spirits and fusillade in order to get to the boss and beat him without losing honor. Pretty lame that I've developed my character for 20 hours just to have to throw something together in order to pass this check. Absolutely nothing invested in minions on my tree - just the skills. And I've attempted this dozens of times before |

Sanctum is AWFUL as an ascendancy mechanic for one primary reason imho.
It asks you to play your character in a way you do not normally play or build for during the rest of the game. (With a few exceptions.) Secondarily the honor mechanic is unintuitive and again, unlike anything else you build for in the game. The introduction of the mechanic so early in the campaign when you barely even have gear or a spec together is also terrible. In PoE1 the acts were frequently referred to as 'the tutorial' for the real game, the end game. If the acts are the tutorial then why is this punitive, confusing, immersion breaking and frustrating mechanic being put on new players so early (and repeatedly to ascend) their character? Sanctum was always an optional content island, it should have stayed that way. This was a controversial mechanic in PoE1, loved and hated fairly equally by the community so it's another decision that has me baffled that they decided THIS was the right way to hang player progression and gate-keep ascendency on. |

Hope they never nerf it! I'm rolling in divine orbs cause you noobs pay me to beat it for you, hahahaha!

" Karma will get you one day. |

LOL half these noobs handing over divine orbs for 4th ascendancy probably had to liquidate their entire net worth in currency assets to purchase a divine orb just to hand it over to me.
One of them didn't have a divine orb, so I was like what all do you got, post it. Perfect jewelers? I'll do it for that. If you can't afford to pay in the specifically requested orb amount, you pay double-triple if I take something else. |

Nope, I will just avoid my 4th ascendancy until these trials are removed from ascendancy. I burned through 8 keys and all failures with max honor resist and just get shafted with afflictions that eventually ruin the run. Waste of my time and ascendancy right now just feels incredibly stupid.

I was advocating against the trial, but ill have to admit it was skill issue on my part, after getting honour resistance relics it gets super easy.
