Waystone Sustain

Same here.
People will tell you "do this, do that"
I have yet to find a single person suggesting a measure I have not taken already.

It just does not sustain for some of us.

Bosses not solving it.
Delirium/breach/etc not solving it.
Overlapping those is not solving it.
Tablets not solving it.
Overlapping several tablets not solving it.
Atlas nodes not solving it.
Rare waystones not solving it.

Both this and the disconnect bug that eats your waystones and erase your maps are pushing me out of the game. I want to play, but I have no solution left, except relying on good samaritans giving me their old maps.

Can confirm, Trading is basically necessary to sustain T15 mapping. You get Poorer from juicing these waystones trying to sustain and make 0 profit.

Completly agree, It's Trash even at 400% drop rate and Quality % upgraded you get dogsh!t. You get Waystone T2-3 dropping 90% of the time in T15 and It's Trash. This is in need of dire adjustment. You lose all your currency just trying to sustain mapping.
Waystone sustain is horrible... it's not like this situation never existed in POE 1... improved by a higher card drop rate... coming back in POE 2

My witch cleans the 2 tests at level 80, I clean the T15...but I only have 2 T11 left in the bag...

Please GGG, fixed this and added more boss fights in the atlas also under the Christmas tree.
I 100% agree, T15 requires full juice to run, takes forever and has a high risk of death. There is literally no reward and frequently no waystone drops above Tier 10.

I have heard if you clear T15 bosses they will drop the most, but this is very high risk/high reward unless you have some broken build in which case the game is trivial anyways so why play.

Pro tip: buy a shitload of baby tier distilled emotions (I think ires are the little one). They are like 5 for 1 exalted, if you apply 3 to a meep you get 60% increased blue packs in your maps, as well as a bunch of extra delirium mobs including several bonus yellow packs.

I've started over-sustaining t15 comfortably since I started doing that.

Just don't use them with map tiles that have a pre-existing delirium mirror. The game gets confused and doesn't give you the baseline mirror or the bonus delirium monsters, just the added blue pack density.

Did you try wearing 500% Magic find on your gear? Apparently according to the masses THAT is the biggest problem in the game at the moment... FML those people are clueless.
this is definitely a big problem and needs adjusted so the game can be played..... Having maps should not be the defining factor to play the game...
Found this post after finally petering out at Tier 8. Ran the 6s and 7s (2 mods with tablets) that were dropping for 4 hours and found 2 tier 8s the whole run. Hit every boss I found, popped every breach, cracked every deli mirror, all to basically no avail. My sorc is one-shotting entire screens in these maps, and so it isn't even difficult, it's just endlessly holding W and right clicking for hours with no danger or interaction. Absolutely abysmal to lock a character far below their power level in map progression.

This game is sorely missing the built in protection of "drops an adjacent map" nodes from PoE1. Sure, maybe you hit an hour or two where you don't drop any new maps, but as soon as you do, it almost always has 2-3 maps you haven't done adjacent to it, so you feel like you're breaking into a new section of the Atlas, and you start dropping incomplete maps left and right. Like there's a reward for your couple hours of grinding completed maps.

In PoE2, there's no such protection. I think a notable passive in the Atlas Tree that says "Rare monsters have a 10% chance to drop a Waystone one tier higher than your current map. Non-rare monsters no longer drop Waystones." or something similar would completely fix this. A downside that makes it only good as a way to prog the atlas, but an upside that would basically guarantee that any time you're strong enough to take on a higher tier, it's available to try. That should be the point of endgame, progression through power, not through tedium.
You're doing something wrong. I have half of a stash tab with T15 that I add more to it than I take from it.

Spec your atlas tree into waystones.

Kill bosses.

You know endgame is simple enough that people understand this, it doesn't help.

I'm almost thinking there something wrong with the random number generator and it's bricked for some characters/accounts. I'm running 70% MF and I barely even get exalted orbs out of t10+ maps. Everything specced in atlas and map drops are absolutely horrible, constantly dropping t4-5 map in t10+ and nothing else, not even from bosses.
