Waystone Sustain

Can confirm, Trading is basically necessary to sustain T15 mapping. You get Poorer from juicing these waystones trying to sustain and make 0 profit.

It's not necessary. I sustain T15 waystones without ever trading them.
Problem is, sustaining it requires a good amount of juicing that makes the maps really RIPPY, and the death punishments are so big that the game become not fun quickly.
Maybe i'm bugged but I have way too many stones. They need the map tab ASAP.

Despite juicing and a solid atlas tree, I'm sick of seeing very low level waystones drop the majority of the time when I'm running juiced tier 10-15 maps. This is creating sustainability issues. Low level crap shouldn't even be dropping in high level areas. Seriously, WTF!
Yeah, sustain issues. I doubt they'll fit in a map tab at this point. It would be nice though.

lmao
I have 3/6 of the T15 Waystone quest.

I died once on a 14 and once on a 15. That was enough to drop me back down to T12 maps somehow.

I have tried multiple atlas trees, increasing pack size, Rare Mods, more waytones, higher tier waystones. I have stacked towers with tables for breech and irradiate. I always run maps with at least 100%. If I over juice them I seem to get one shot easier, plus the map is time consuming to clear.

Just my opinion but Tier 14 maps should not be dropping Waytones under 10.

Especially when running all nodes with +to higher tier. I am getting Tier 1-6 consistently. I have a combine pile but it usually ends up netting me two T12.

The random damage spikes are quite annoying, when you couple that with losing your stone, all you buffs, your loot, and XP. I am ok with death being punishing, but not when I am running around one shotting everything, then BOOM I'm dead and I don't know why.

If you want to keep it this way, then waystones need to be more plentiful to accommodate those who are trying to learn and progress. I can't get better if I can't play the content I find challenging.

I wish I knew how this is possible. It must be a gear or skill issue on my end. I can't sustain above T11. I try to juice my T14/T15 maps, but it they get above 200% is really hard to clear and not die.

I have watched probably 2 hours of "How to sustain maps" Wudijo, Raxx, and others and I can't. It has to be a gear issue, or skill.

Waystones are plentiful, I have 6 tabs dedicated to them.

As has already been said in this thread multiple times, you need to run them for sustain if you are having problems.

100% chance to drop is not anywhere near enough, my maps I set aside for sustain reasons are all at least 300%.

Boss nodes, if you run with high waystone drop chance, will also drop multiple maps from the boss alone.

Don't waste your highest tier maps on no reward nodes, just use a lower tier one to get through it.

Lower tier maps still have other uses in this atlas system, which you'll discover the further in you push.

Use reforging bench if you need, 3 maps of the same tier = 1 map of the next tier.
The main problem is that the bracket for drops is to big. I can do T15 Maps and 90-95% of the maps droping are T13 and below and more than 50% are even below T10. The only way to reliably sustain it right now is to fill the boss tree and doing bosses as they drop 2-3 T15 reliably.
I drop so many waystones that I only pick T14/15 and still can't run out of them.
Make sure you have waystone chance find on actual waystone. I have 3 poins on atlas for waystones; 2 points on waystones found have 10% chance to be a tier higher and then last point on Constant Crossroads which increases quant of waystones found in maps by 20%.

Yea, but then whats the point is speccing the atlass in other things and having the freedom of choosing how you want to play.
When they literally force you to spec in Waystones cause they messed up the drop rates and how they drop.
Low-tier waystones have no place dropping in higher-tier maps.
Thats an idiotic design decision and should be removed.
If you're running a tier 10 map you should only get the same tier or a small chance of higher tiers.
