Are you developer? Cause you sound like you're involved in what PoE2 will become: a texture pack for PoE1 with all the overcomplicated, clunky and out-of-time mechanics transferred to new graphics. I wonder, if it's really GGG's goal to just move the same player base from PoE1 to PoE2 while goalkeeping a new audience outside, that never enjoyed PoE1 for stuff like xp loss.

Take me. I left PoE1 years ago - i LOVED the game, the gameplay, the trade, but i left because of the xp loss. Even now, dying makes me shut down the game. If you're one of the guys 'enjoying' this: congrats! This is why PoE1 is for YOU!

But unless you're not a developer and directly involved into making PoE2, you're just having an OPINION. And with that, please join the line and bring ARGUMENTS like anybody else does.

Nah bro. XP death penalty isn't an OPINION. It's a fact. It exist in REALITY.

You want it removed, because you live in a FANTASY. The game you want to play don't exist. It isn't PoE2, it just a product of your imagination.

You want it removed, YOU have to argue for it, and you will have to face the same arguments we give you over and over that you dismiss only because "the game is going to be better without it, trust me bro, my FANTASY is perfect".

And saying "it hurts mah feelings" isn't enough.

You and plenty others here clearly feel threatened by the mere notion that the plebs of the gaming community isn't fond of a game mechanic that adds nothing to the game other than aversion for it's actual mechanics.
