LOLW. You really don' understand this post, do you?
Someone explain to him.

Jesus dude, I take almost a week off from the forums and it takes you 13 minutes to find me on the one morning I dare to come back.

I'm flattered, but please...I'm worried if I leave for too long again you might starve.

Poe2 is exactly the same only less fun and with fewer ways to farm that currency

Right, because me missing one update post out of the 32 that were made completely invalidates any other feedback that I had to offer. Does it feel good, sitting so high up on that horse?

The last time I experienced the resistance penalty in maps was shortly after the game released. Since then, I've been playing HCSSF and have yet to even make it back to that point. So, yeah, it's fair to assume that I was speaking from the experience I already had. Either way, if that's what you're holding onto out of everything I said, then the point is lost on you.

I've never played a game where I was just constantly angry all the time. Not even when I play souls games.

I'm angry about the zone layouts and how each zone is tedious and genuinely not fun to navigate (dreadnought is the worst layout in any arpg I've ever played). I'm angry about how skill progression is gated behind pure RNG. I'm angry that player gear progression is gated behind pure RNG. I'm angry that, instead of the normal 30% res penalty at the "end" of the campaign, you take 10% each act and then more in maps, putting you constantly behind. I'm angry that the players were intentionally slowed down, but monsters leap, sprint, roll and fly at you from 2 screens away. I'm angry that I can get body rolled 2 screens if that stupid beetle rushes at me just right. I'm angry there is a ridiculous amount of chaos/poison damage so early on in the campaign with virtually zero chance of mitigating it.

At least with souls-like games (or most any game with a steep difficulty curve), there was a mild period of rest where you can relax and celebrate a sense of accomplishment after beating a difficult boss/zone. With this....I beat a boss that drops literally nothing I can/will use, think about the zone I have to dredge through next and say "well shit...I'm not looking forward to this" at level 40 with the same gear I found at level 16. With every single zone that follows the last. And if I haven't found a skill gem that brings my skills up to level? Good luck.

I, and I'm pretty sure a lot of people, shouldn't be constantly gripped and irritated at a game that literally had 10+ years of its predecessor's knowledge and experience to learn from. It feels like you tried to take the worst parts of every ARPG in history, threw in a soul-dodge, then touted it as genre defining when everything this game does has been done before, but better. You guys have to do something about this game as a whole....because this is just not it.

Yes this, and many, many other issues that have been repeated by many, many others are why I haven't been playing EA and for the most part only been checking the forums once per day to see if/when GGG was going to put up and kind of response to all the feedback. Tomorrow seems to be the day.

I hope GGG says what I and many, many others want to hear. Otherwise, well, I'll just keep not playing.
poe 2 > poe 1 at least you don't get random one hit ko like in poe 1 lol

The rest is the same opinion stuff on here a hundred times. Yes, some people hate some stuff, some love the exact same stuff. The only thing I saw I hadn't seen a hundred times before was being completely wrong about the resistance thing.

Sorry, to the other 99% of the post, I respond with, "Mm-hmm."

Better?
