I'm confused. SSF is there for streamers. Nothing more, nothing less. There is nothing stopping you from making a character in trade and gasp, not trading. I'll never understand why people think devs need to make game modes with specific rulesets when they can just do it themselves.

SSF/SF is just that. you can actually play that way without GGG making a single change to the game. even SSF. you can play SSF on a normal trade league. you just need to not trade and not party.
simple as that.
but yeah, i agree that if it takes minimal resources. it can be a good idea for ggg to implement it.
but now that i think of it, i'll add that only if ENOUGH people ask for it. if its just 1-2 persons then its not that important for ggg to prioritize.

GGG does not want 2 different economies to exist.
they already split the game between HC/SC, STD/Temp leagues.
GGG has no time to make balance changes for a new SSF+good loot league. in fact no devs do this. they see the market and adjust drops globally for all leagues.
Let's not forget THERE IS NO ECONOMY in SF
And I dont necessarily care about balance changes in SF. Im only asking for party play

party play in SF kinda defeats the purpose... if you get your buddy to help with boss to get your HoWa would that be still self found? you would need to brand it to somehting like part play with disabled trade but exchanging favours is ok. and PPWDTBEFIO is a bit weird

i would point out that some people do want it and if not mistaken streamers did make a custom league with this as part of the mechanic.
in a way its a "self contained SSF-ish" party.
i think the best way to implement this is "GOPOE", guild only POE. guilds in this mode are separate from the rest of the game. you can trade and party with people ONLY if you're from the same guild.
if for any reason you get kicked out of the guild, your entire stash/items/characters are VOIDED.

that's a neat idea but i feel like they gave ppl this option through private leagues no? i'm not sure how affordable those are so maybe address that to make them more popular? they give lots of customization options there from what i know
i feel like making it a pay to play feature is justified as i dont see much people actually asking for this game mode.

lol, i've actually pointed out several times, SSF mode exists only to validate an SSFers claim that they actually SSF'd. its just a badge of honour.
and yet people still claim to "not understand". even by saying its a badge of honour its not enough.

It does beat the purpose of "solo", yes... "self"... kind of, yes. And still I feel it would be superior to SSF. That's why I'm asking for it. I for one would trade SSF to "tradeless" (a much better name, no?) the day it gets released. ANd I believe most (if not all) SSF players would too.

Sounds interesting. But if I had to choose between guild realms and simple "tradeless" (rather than that huge mix of letters the other guy proposed), I'd go for tradeless.
