" Dude... you should have read the whole text before shooting from the hips... I think WE need people to get the whole picture before posing on the internet. And "no" I did not forget a "t" ^^ Last edited by ThngsLikeThis#7774 on Feb 13, 2025, 4:43:14 AM

+1 for a decent in-game market/auction house.
I read the manifesto a while back and none of it rang true to me. It's one person's desire to make an even greater divide between the hardcore and casual player with rationalisations that do not hold up to the slightest critical consideration. Fundamentally it's a decision that will cost revenue. Fewer people will play when engaging with the necessity to trade to play into the harder parts of the end-game is so obfuscated, awkward and antiquated. Fewer players = fewer people who might spend a few bucks. One rationalisation is that the current system is less prone to encouraging or facilitating RMT. It does nothing to reduce RMT. It costs peanuts to have a person in some country with a favourable exchange rate and minimal standards of life to sit with a couple dozen characters logged in selling items manually. RMT sites are selling insane amounts of currency and this is still the 'pre-release' (read 'Beta')! |

I'd be all for items getting sent directly to a stash from the website.
And add browser compatibility to the client, or adapt to be similar to the microtransaction shop but at least maintain the existing search capabilities of the website. I feel like it is desirable to no longer leave the client for trading and eliminate disrupting people that just want to keep playing after putting items up for sale. Edit: I have friends that play that don't even know about trading on the website. Moving it into the client will help folks find and use the trade website that don't even know it exists. Diablo 3 has AUCTION HOUSE system in both game's currency and real money currency and they shut it down in a year and wishes it never happened.

What age, still using backward trading mode.
Very inconvenient However, I don't think GGG will change. |

GGG will die on this trading hill.
We all will suffer for it. I don't think they should. A full on auction house would be awesome. Having to stop what you're doing to trade is stinky. Having to run a bot to do your trades for you is... well it might as well just be an auction house. I don't know if bot trades are against ToS, and I don't care to find out. Two reasons. I'm not gonna bot, and I do not want to get rid of the trade bots. The trade bots are helping to fix a problem that GGG refuses to do themselves. Point is that (potential) rulebreakers are getting a much better experience than the rule followers. Because GGG doesn't have an auction house player will have to go to the guys who make bots to solve the issue. I trust GGG to not install malware on my PC a lot more than some dude writing bot code. Unfortunately GGG's stance on that is a simple "Don't do that" So to sum that all up, GGG will die on this trading hill. And we all will suffer for it. |

" Any Diablo game is not a trade-driven ARPG, but POE is, FYI. |

" then imagine how much more damage auction house could bring to POE. |
