Can we do an event that uses the 99.99% of players

honestly who tf cares about this event? thought this game was going to be great, but they just threw together the end game. Instead of going to the drawing board and creating something truly good, they are just going to take the thrown together end game and tweak it a couple times. this race is a joke. this game needs some actual effin development. why tf are we running an event when the game is completely unfinished???

Events are to make the game fun again.
Some rpgs remove all your gear for certain areas to force you to use whatever is in the area. It's always a favorite. So maybe an infinite sekema that gives gear, passive points, boons/afflictions, etc. Some people love to delve in POE1, so it might work. Hell, make it core instead of an event. Sounds better the more I talk about it.

but if the streamers don't bring in the players the "promotion" was a complete failure, alright?

so if its a failure do you believe that GGG will make More or Less race events in the future?

Ofc it will be Less maybe even non at all, but this could be avoided if they change race events and the rewards so that the average gamer gets excited by the promotion by the Streamer and does 'LOG IN'

How on earth is an event that only is meant for streamers a good advertisement? that strictly tells you they do not care about the player base and only cater to the ones that are glued to a screen.

The whole point of this post is that they should make an event that invites the majority of players, not the minority (streamers)

What sounds more exciting? the option to play an event tailor made for a game in early access to give you a taste of what is to come or watch someone play the game?

I do not understand how people can defend this. Do you have no self respect?

If you make an event that only .01% of the player base can do how does that help the game? All you get from that is "ok GGG has no interest in the games health and they only want a lazy promotion"

Having exclusive rewards are fine but you need to have an incentive that brings people back. Anyone who completes said event has access to a lower tier reward while those that finished first in their respective class get the glorious item. How is that hard to understand?

This is not an event made in the likes of promotion at all. Anyone who was gonna watch those streamers would have watched it anyways so that argument falls flat.

Plus if this counts as a promotion then they promoted a false product. The game is suppose to be a slow methodical style and yet they make a speed run the first event? It is not even a good one at all too like all it was, was who can leap slam and shield charge the fastest. Wowwee what an event!!!!!!

I am just baffled at how single minded of a response this is. i was not aware that the majority of players are just casual dads. Last i checked there are a multitude of players in this game. So lets say 40% of the players are just casual Andys. Why block the 59.99% that make up the rest outside streamers?

An event is made for the enjoyment of the players. This event was not made for the players at all. If they want a streamer only event then they should strictly invite streamers. Saying everyone has a chance to win if they are good enough is just plain false. You can be really good at a game but a speed run is not what counts as a regular player.

Would have preferred a fix to something rather than a race to be honest. Might actually make me play the game again
