No event in games beats the Egg Hunt in the book/movie Ready Player #1 - is an fantasy fiction dystopia? Yes, but...

The prize is insanely good;

The event engages the whole game community;

Knowledge of the game is required, but not restrictive;

And the better caveat is.. Even a huge P2W conglomerate with inside information couldn't win without put real shaddy effort into it.


GGG race events are just half baked publicity stunts supported by streamers.
