How many Gemcutter's Prism do you have? Is it supposed to be so super-rare?

Gemcutter is more like comparableto pul-ist than zod. If you want to find "zod", try getting Mirror of Kalandra.

I don't even think that it is on the same level as an Ist rune.
Maybe it's value but you find it more often.

Ist runes for example only dropped in hell (or maybe in nightmare not sure but then only very low chance and maybe only baal)
While i found gemcutters in act 1 normal.

It's more like a Hel rune.

While kalandras Mirror might be very true to be a Zod (or Ist-ish)

Just throwing it out there that I have a 68, 58, 44, and a bunch of lower levels, and I've gotten enough GCPs to get 2 skills to 20% quality.

I have a 20% Freezing Pulse and a 20% Added Cold damage, at least 11 of those points were spent by Gemcutters Prism. They're not super rare.

They drop if you put in the time farming. Stack some quantity & off you go. I look at %quality gems in relative values to a gcp. However, at around 10%+ you can often trade for a gcp outright.

If you're lucky, like I was, you can get it at level 1. Keep killing and you'll get more

a level 38,38,32,51,and a 34 and i just got my first gc today.Not impressed with the drop rate at all.

I've gotten 8 on one char who didn't even reach maps, 4 of which dropped in normal. Superlucked.

That sounds like an argument why Zod drops were crap, not against buffing GCPs.
D2 had horrible rune drop rates anyway, the only reason they were tolerable in multiplayer was that they were duped extensively.

All i can add is, I dont believe a GCP should be worth avg of 6 fuses. I can find 40 fuses before i find one single GCP. Its a rediculous state of affairs imo.
