We can always play self found in a league where everyone else if flipping or RMTing there way to the top I guess. It just sucks to play a game with such low drop rates that seems to be moving more and more to a self found or RMT/flipping only play style

Ofc you could play self-found, and ofc you'll have an harder time doing so compared to guys trading and partying. This game is online and multiplayer.

i made alot of currency (exalts) in a week and a half just by posting stuff for sale in POE.xyz without spamming trade chat.

Made 5-6 exalts (they're in chaos atm) this week by farming a bit each day without IIR/IIQ gear because I was trying to level up.

Not great by any means but a fortune to me.

Well it just so happened I couldn't get any sleep and decided to get up and do one more map... guess twice if an Exalted Orb dropped from the first mob. I swear I did a little disco dance.

Anyway, if anyone can PM me some good tricks to capitalize on the few exalts I got, they will be greatly appreciated.

Welp, I didn't mean to start a wall o' text with my post. I was completely honest when I said it just takes time.

I turned an Alpha's howl into an Abyssus, Maligaro's, Rainbows, and a Dream frags with just a little bit of work.

Then I turned the Maligaro's that I bought for 12 chaos into an exalted.


Honestly, just farm up enough to start flipping and you'll acquire a good amount of currency.

Some people can do maps and actually still read the trade at the same time, I'm one of them but I am not rich. I only pcik up the really apparent deals, and I don't like to haggle.

So it's not like you can only trade or map at once.

I found a Kaoms Heart in a Vaal unique map (pre nerf/legacy) and sold it for 80 exalts.. Nothing else to say.. get lucky with drops/crafts + sell = profit
