Disappointed that you can link support gems with them. It means they will suck without a support...

To be fair, Vaal Molten Shell is actually viable to build around. With full duration increases you have 22 seconds to get 32 kills while 1-shotting pretty much everything due to it's crazy base damage, that's plenty possible. Or you can save it on a 4-link with full damage supports for boss annihilation.
It's probably the most viable vaal skill though, so that's not saying a whole lot for the others. |

I'm pretty sure Orbs of Corruption are the noob trap in this expansion.
Seems like unless you're filthy rich already most people are just gonna end up ruining their items. |

tbh Path of Exile is a giant noob trap. Technically.
Can already think of one weird inefficient combination with Vortex Cyclone - Mines. " It's all grounded in logic: A number of Vaal skills have been shown to be sweepers. There are adequate sweepers in the game already. Split Arrow (and its variants, such as GMP Lightning Arrow) covers the entire damn screen already. When you have two things, one will always be better than the other. If they're better, since trash monsters basically disintegrate when you look cross-eyed at them, any increase in offensive power will go largely unappreciated. If they're worse, then they're just worse. Ergo, raw efficient damage won't be their appeal. And it probably shouldn't be. The offensive ones can appeal to Timmy, while the defensive ones, if they're decent, can appeal to Spike. I personally probably won't be spending a 4L on one. Even if it could fit, there aren't enough skill keys as is. Or storage space. Good lord. They're crafty, soaking us with them storage panels by adding more gems and items into the game. I don't see why people are complaining you won't have room to actually run them. I played a summoner(before the summoner buffs) in nemesis, and got to level 86. From what I know summoners have the hardest time fitting in gems, and I was able to keep arc - culling strike - faster casting on my weapon. That is without missing anything. I also wasn't abusing the snapshot feature either. You can be as delusional as you want, but the only REAL people that will have problems fitting in extra gems are those whom are using kaoms.
Lets say for a typical build here on HC. 4L CWDT 6L Main attack 4L Aura's 4L Secondary skill if you use one. That means you have your weapon/weapons open for gems usually. Yes if you have kaoms they won't be open, but guess what you don't start the game with a pretty new kaoms in your stash. I also realize you don't start with a 6L, but that is not so important.
