Well in last 1 month at day 5 the players at level 70 were around rank 5000. It isn't entirely accurate since its a different league, the rewards are different and they always vary - but regardless id expect somewhere in that ballpark (4-6 thousand).

So spend 5 days developing a character for a 1 in 200 chance at being able to develop multiple characters for 6-8 weeks only to have those characters wiped anyway. Hmmmm ...

Im getting top 35 so it doesnt bother me :D

but people's motives are different, some people enjoy beta's, not everyone cares about character wipes etc.

Doesn't anyone think that, the top players by experience get keys is a stupid idea? I mean the ones with highest xp are obviously good at rushing and getting far quickly = more or less they will do the same on the beta and potentially miss a lot of testing means. In which the beta was made for the purposes of testing data, why not give the access to people who don't really test anything and just rush through -_- I do understand that they may be able to test multiple end game builds faster, but at the cost of missing those gritty specifics im guessing. A lot of people still use the current combo's for gaining progress faster such as leap slam, molten strike, static strike, lightning tendrils and others. Makes no sense to allow players who utilize these methods to rush to end-game to only be wiped and pfff, nothing learnt.

Just because they can, doesn't mean they will. Also top players clearly have more time to play, so yes, they are perfect people to get keys.

They will, given the choices of gems early on, and builds you have to make rely on those gems. If you aim to make a build not knowing when to get those required gems, then your guna use those quick progression means, other option is to make a build around those available gems hence common builds in the beta not really contributing to useful data. Make your own mind up about it but you cannot deny that they all will in some way use those methods to bridge between hard spots in the builds. Countering potentially important testing and helping altering the game itself into empty spaces of missing test data. Which could lengthen the duration of the beta and from my perspective and several others, find this quite tedious.

Well clearly you have a negative view on anyone that is faster in racing than you, so i will forgo this conversation.

Hope you have a nice evening.
a race with Price beta acces?

this is NOT a way to retain players wich DONT WANT to go beta like me.

and btw, a video of a boos fight of the upcoming expansión at fronpage of the site??

thanks for NOT taking account of the people who enjoy the lore.

and dont tell me dont go to the news, i have to go to the news to check for new leagues (like this) during his Beta time, and dont want to get free spoilers or know nothing about new conent.

Stream Thumbnails count as spoiler too.

ggg plz, keep your beta hype like gentleman serious players, and not like rage hyped kids.

Im not trying to put a downer on the race or people who are good at races, I will admit im not one for rushing or progressing quickly, as a favourite quote I have seen many times "its not about the end, it about the journey". In my experience this game is more fun starting over and leveling up again, sometimes with ideas I like, some new. People who are fast racers amaze me in how quick they can play. Im just stating that posting a 5 day event and top 35 get keys isn't a thought through idea, just a distraction. However, you say the fast racers have more time to play which is obvious, but more is not necessarily good, quality is key here.

Dumb race-noob question... I get no trading, no guild stash, no partying...

Is your own stash available? I'm sure the stash would be separate from any existing league, but does it exist at all?

AKA, can I make a character, get a desired gem as quest reward, then make my "real" race character, and use the gem?

The build I have in mind requires 1 gem that isn't available as a reward, at all, on the class it would work best on, so I'd like to know in advance for MAH PLANNING.

Yes this works.

Your stash is available and shared between characters. Self-found in this instance simply implies no trading is involved with other people.
