RUSSIAN BOTS RUSSIAN BOTS

Its the botters, and currency farmers + RMT'ers that make the exchange rate go bonkers. Remember when they did a massive bot banwave, the currency immediately dipped right after back to 70-85c range.

I must admit I am part of the problem. There is various methods of achieving a guaranteed 200c/hour and the only good appreciating store of value is an exalted orb. Currently sitting on about 50 of them.

This game needs more chaos sinks or the ratio will continue to rise.

So you are either admitting to botting, doing 100 chaos recipes per hour, or are somehow actually finding 200c every hour?

Because no other method would actually increase the number of chaos in circulation.

I'm selling things I find/craft for chaos, and then converting them into exalts. Every piece of gear I want is priced in exalted orbs so the sooner I convert, the better.

The chaos orb just isn't a good item crafting currency any more. Using resonators/fossils, you can target a stat more reliably than endlessly chaos spamming.

The only solution I see (if GGG even sees inflation as a problem) is to scrap resonator colors, and add an inner socket where you infuse it with a chaos or alchemy orb, in order to affect a common/rare item, otherwise, You'll see this crazy inflation.

In my opinion, you'd be better served keeping some amount (say 30%) in chaos as a hedge against GGG taking action that devalues exalts with respect to chaos.

If chaos goes to 180:1, you missed out on 16% gain on 30%. But if it goes to 120:1 (which was Delve's historical ratio), you're looking at a 25% loss in your exalt value but can save some with the chaos and buying exalts at that new ratio.

Bonus points if it goes to about 80:1 for a day or so, similar to Incursion.

I'd say the economy is vastly different after 3.4

Until Chaos > Fossils for crafting (which in some cases, they can't be due to Delve specific mods) this is the new norm.

New league starts = immediately begin converting chaos to exalts.
1:165 huh?
These prices are not normal at all. I hope GGG do something. In addition to bans, they can replace some of the recipes on the crafting table from 1ex to 100c.

Or boost shaper and elder rare rings and amulets drops.
Exalts will be cheaper then
2 weeks i don't drop an exalt . My friends also. GGG manipulates "rng" and ofc exalts rise in price cuz no one drops
specific streamers and their guild/community have a huge influence on the market that's all I can say.

I like both of these ideas.
Over 430 threads discussing labyrinth problems with over 1040 posters in support (thread # 1702621) Thank you all! GGG will implement a different method for ascension in PoE2. Retired!
The exchange rate will drop back to ard 140 chaos by next week.

The current Exalt Inflation is like a big fat balloon bursting anytime soon.
