it is not sacrificing, we just dont convert it. 10% conversion is not worth a gem slot damage wise

we dont use herald of thunder and dont get the 25% penetration, so we rather focus on cold/fire damage instead

ok first your pob is too messy, second , you just repeated the thing im pointing to be the issue, my point is if you remove the conversion jewel, replace with a crit multi and other dmg stat jewel, then remove the cold to fire support and turn off herald of ash, and replace then with phys to lightning and herald of thunder, im assuming just by the look that it would be more dps than the current setup. If you could test and tell me how it goes

alright, first of all ye pob was messy didnt even notice both herald werent active lol

second you should take a close look at herald of fire, it is way to good to miss, 12% more fire damage, 15% bonus phys to fire conversion and increased fire dmg, while hot gives us nothing except the penetration from the ascendant point
with a cold to fire gem we get extra damage from hoi, few passive skill nodes, kaoms, hatred and taste of hate. it is simply the best choice for highest damage output, but as u wish i can try it out

with the current setup i reach 9,93M Dps

with ur suggestions i reach 7,13M Dps

and if you suggest now to remove herald of ice instead of hof, no its not worth it ;)

A nice build, especially after the BV buff!
But I have a question now. Why dont you use a ring or jewel that add any lightning damage to spell? It would cause at least 20% more damage due to beacon of ruin ascendent I think.

You are right about the beacon of ruin part, but i am using orb of storm which does lightning damage, of course its not always up against trash mobs but its not really needed.
also light conflux has an uptime of around 40% where we always shock with full effect

i mean you can go for a jewel with added light damage but i wouldnt suggest it on a ring

it's just to precast blades before bosses, not a must have but its nice to start with 10 blades instead of 5

Do you still use Spell Echo now that it is 10 stacks or do you replace it with something else? Not sure if its needed now, conc effect for bosses is there something better for clearing though?
