No Sound whatsoever

I'm new here, no sound too.

-Win 7 64bit
-Creative Soundblaster X-Fi with Driver 6.0.1.1348 using SPDIF out
-Asus Maximus Formula (X38 chipset)

The game doesn't show up as an active audio device, neither in SPDIF nor speaker. I get sound when plugging headphones directly into the SB X-Fi although the game still doesn't show up in the Win 7 soundmixer.

Also, the only sound options I have are sliders for Music and FX, where are people seeing their audio driver from inside the game?

Worked fine a week or so ago, just updated to 0.9.9c and found that I had no sound.

* This is what device manager shows, DXDiag shows 5.12.0001.0008.

EDIT: Should be noted that I am also using SPDIF out.

I don't have exactly what you are experiencing, but had music and only some sound effects (and others super quiet) until I changed my sound configuration.

For instance, I go (Win 7) to Sound, select my Creative X-Fi and click Configure. I use headphones when I play, but had it set to 5.1 but with only the front left and right checked. This actually works better in most places than choosing Stereo, but for PoE I had to select Stereo and that fixed the muted/super quiet sounds.

I still have another issue where a lot of the sounds are a scratch buzzing sound like feedback, but that is separate. Seems like the Creative X-Fi cards have a lot of issues here.

Having the same issue as a lot of you. I am using a Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium card and using the SPDIF Out with Astro A40 Headset and get no sound. I am getting sound through windows and other games just not Path of Exile. I have updated to the newest drivers for the sound card and still no luck.

Xfi - running SPDIF out

PC was formated just 3 weeks ago, I only just purchased and entered the beta today, so I'm fairly sure this isn't my PC as no other games do this.

I have ingame sound but not when i try to stream the game using xsplit or procaster, x-fi xtreme music here.

I only have sound through my headphones, SPDIF doesn't work at all.
I have an Auzentech X-Fi HomeTheater HD with the latest drivers (v1.20)

SB Xfi here, no sound at all. Same issues as listed in previous Xfi posts. (SPDIF)
