[3.21] Aegis Incinerate Elementalist - Tank with over 10mil Shaper DPS!

Out of interest, if I wanted to use two heavy defensive anointments, what would be a good one to pair with Soul of Steel?
Inexorable was the original "other" enchant. It has changed from before but still a lot of armour, needs a silver oil.

Steelwood stance is a cheap enchant

Honestly though I think Soul of Steel and a DPS enchant (whispers or one of the cheaper alternatives we have discussed) is better, this build is tanky enough as is.

Thanks! I forgot about Inexorable. That is how we used to get our Endurance Charges in the old days.

I have been doing great but I just got absolutely shredded in a T14 map. I used a Vaal on it because I needed atlas completion but it created a cocktail of damage mods I could not handle in the swarms. I could not even get IC off before being one shotted(or many shotted in this case).

It was this experience that made me wonder if I need more layers of defense.

But seeing as this was a one off, I guess I will just chalk that up to the RNG gods and continue on.
Am I correct that this would be the best life flask for to cover bleed?

Panicked Divine Life Flask of Assuaging

It looks really hard to create.

I threw about 100 alts and came up with this. Probably good enough for now

I am really unhappy with Cinderswallow. The flask is down 75% of the time if not more.

I was wondering if a flask like this would have synergy with our build?

If I pair this with the flask above, it looks like I might recover almost 5k of my health pool instantly (which sounds really good but I may be misunderstanding how it works.).

I will test it out since it is simple enough.
Yup panicked is best for us, low life -> instant max heal. I'm surprised it took you 100 alts though, remember you can craft the bleed at beastiary

That unique flask looks very interesting, but it does not heal on its own (besides the now 5% life regen on consecrated ground) so you need another source of life recovery

I'm trying to recreate this build but it is kind of hard with only the PoB as I think the first post refers to an older iteration of the build?

Would you change anything concerning the passive tree, if you would get a Skin of the Lords with Pain Attunement on it?

Thanks for the build!

I think it must be very hard to craft. I noticed that they were selling for over an exalt. When I go to my bestiary I do not have a craft to do "Assuaging" (I don't know if I need to buy a specific beast for this or not).

Do you have "Assuaging" available to craft for beasts?

The flask worked REALLY well. I was very impressed. It lasts forever so the up time is near 100% when mapping. Then any time I want to recover life, ES or both, I just tap my instant life flask and I get back instantly 2500 in both.

I tested this in a fairly juiced T15 map and I was very happy. I am going to put Cinderswallow to the side for a while and continue testing.

One obvious downside is likely Chaos DOT because of Zealot's Oath. I think that will be mitigated with Arakali though (if and when I can finally shed Brine which I need for stuns until I get the medium clusters)

There is still a lot of good information in the first post but yes, some of it is out of date so make sure you look closely at the POB and then ask any questions you might have.

If you have Pain Attunement on your Skin and you still require a socket for a catch all rare jewel (for resists etc), then I would do the following:

1) Remove the 6 points on the tree to the right of Deep Wisdom

2) Spend 4 points to get the socket under Mind Over Matter

3) Use the other 2 points in Masteries of your choice

If you don't require a socket for a rare jewel, then those 6 points you freed up could be used on the left side of the tree.

Thank you for the fast reply and the great suggestions. I will definetly ask questions while I am building the character, so I'm in your care =) Thank you!
