Yes, as long as it is level 21.

If not, a regular level 21 is better than a Divergent Level 20.

Note that there is not a level 21 Divergent on sale in the league. The only way to get it at the moment is to level a Divergent Incin to 20 and Vaal it and hope for the best.

I am 0 for 3 in trying this so far.

So your POB says you cast 8.5 times a second, let's say 9. You have 3.3% chance to crit with each cast, which means 96.7% chance to not crit. .967 ^ 9 = 74% chance to not crit each second, which means 26% chance to crit after 1 second.

It works in mapping because this calculation is applied to all the monsters you hit, but in a bossing scenario only having 26% chance to crit every second is pretty bad in my opinion.

Actually because of onslaught, my cast rate is about 9.5. I think the calculation is not applied to all monster btw! However in mapping, you just need to crit within the next 8 seconds. From my sensing, the uptime is about 75%-80%, but my clearing speed has improved a lot because of the bigger AOE.

Without deep breaths, the downtime of infernal warcry is just too long in very packed maps, and awakened CD [which I haven't get yet] gives a lot DPS if the uptime of EO is high.

On top of that, I get to upgrade to a better glove without unnerve (which I am still deciding as well haha)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ooA8L7Hhjcs - Took a video of my fight against A8 Sirus. The uptime not too good, maybe about 30-50%? Just that the longer range is really helpful (increasing the speed I cleared Sirus I feel).

Out of curiosity, in case I ever want to do it, what program do you guys use to record your game play?

I used my radeon software to just record actually. The software has a recording function.

windows game bar
I rejigged my items and passive tree further, to balance tankiness and damage.

Manage to get

3.55% crit chance with flasks
10.3 cast rate with onslaught
106-110% resist to all (I want to reduce to 100% but don't have the equip to do so haha)
3700 hp, 5200 energy with 39K unbuffed armour
Increased AOE further to 55 by removing Explosive impact and going for Amplify and Nimbleness

Also took a video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UFxfF-ohpOo - Feels like 60-70% uptime for mapping, only reasonable, not great.

Very impressive build evolution!

What I meant earlier about the calculation applied to each monster is that when you are mapping, each cast of incinerate is hitting multiple monsters, so multiple chances to crit with a large number of mobs.

Now I'm not so sure if that's true. Some random post I found says cyclone rolls crit for each "attack" so either all of the mobs hit are critted or none are critted...
