according to people on reddit, the effectiveness of Sap and Brittle will be meaningless if we only have tiny damage with lightning and cold.
They said to think of it similar to how effective would our shocks and chills be in the exact same set up (which I am pretty sure would be next to nothing with so little cold and lighting). If they are correct, I think this may render the Interrogation version much weaker than Leadership's Price but with out first hand knowledge I can't be certain. |

" Ok, I agree then, Leadership's Price it is then. I knew the low cost of that cluster jewel was too good to be true.
Yes, because we are primarily fire, interrogation will only realistically give us scorch ailment. Leadership's Price gives us conflux to all alternative ailments, which means our brittles, saps and scorches are based on the combined total of all our damage rather than a single element.

ok I agree with every one as well.
Leadership's Price version is it. The Inquisitor crit build still looks plenty strong with out Leadership's Price so I hope people won't get turned off by the end game nature of the amulet. Even with no amulet on in the POB, it looks T16 worthy so plenty of time to farm up the currency needed for the amulet. I believe there will be plenty of amulets on sale if people use this as their second build of the league. I am a pretty slow player so I have no worries about availability as this will be my second build (assuming no surprises in the Patch notes). Cost will almost certainly be what causes me to be slow in getting the amulet. |

While researching online, people recommended that if we wanted to use Scorched, Brittle and Sap, that we try and get some "Increased effect of non damaging ailments" on the tree.
Luckily we already get 60% increased effect of non damaging ailments just with our base tree pathing to Divine Judgement. I don't see any others close enough on the tree worth repathing too at first glance but I will look closer. |
|
One item that continues to nag me with out in game proof, is if we are ever going to come close to capping brittle/sap/scorch with our current average damage.
No one online seems to have an exact answer since the enemies ailment threshold information is hard to come by and it has to be tested on a build by build case in game. I don't want to fool myself (or any one else) as to whether we can get to the cap or not, so for now, I am lowering Brittle to 10 (from the max of 15) and lowering Scorch to 20 (from the max of 30). This lowers our DPS to 8.5m. I am going to keep these new numbers until some one can definitely state one way or another with in game testing (or at least experience with the alternate ailments). |

I have played a bit with the 10M inquisitor crit version, to kill guardians took appr. same time, as with the 10M elementarist. but it is just how I feel, not an exact calculation:)

" thank you for the observation. That does seem to indicate we are getting close to max ailments. Did you ever get a chance to see how much you could stack the three alt ailments on a boss or was it too much going on to see the icons? I have a couple of comments on your POB in case you are interested: * You had one small mistake in the tree. You took the wrong node on the Divine Judgment wheel. With Leaderships Price we don't need the node that gives chance to Ignite/Freeze/Shock. We want the one that gives increased effect of non damaging ailments (brittle, sap, scorched). * In the Config window, the max Brittle we can get is 15. It won't effect your DPS numbers at all as 15 is enough to cap your crit chance. * They added a new feature this league in the POB Config window that allows you to add in stats POB does not yet support. This allows for you to put in the Arcane Surge numbers in that custom window instead of adding a 5th socket to your boots. You can add them like this in the window and then remove the Arcane Surge from your Boots: 10% more Spell Damage (Arcane Surge) 30% increased Mana Regeneration Rate (Arcane Surge) *I love your addition of Dying Sun. I am going to add that to the notes section of the POB I am upkeeping to give ideas to people who need help sustaining Righteous Fire until all pieces are in place |

" thanks for your comments:)
" That's great news! How did you feel the defenses performed? One of my concerns was the low net regen with RF. Was the regen combined with es on block enough to not seem squishy? |
