Definitely losing out on both damage and mana from no Crown, have to run Clarity to keep up mana regen. I know I have an empty jewel socket as well; I'll probably throw a crit multiplier jewel in there.
Debating whether to pay for an Elemental Pen or just go ahead and buy a 3B3R Skin to add in awakened fire pen. Most 4th blue gem options for 4B2R are pretty bad, faster casting was giving me 200k DPS though so I've gone with that for now.
I find that Corrupted Soul causes me to take a lot of damage to life that doesn't come back nearly as fast as ES. What's a good source of more life recovery? If there was room for more gems, perhaps a Reckoning + Life Gain on Hit link would help me.
Overall I'm happy with the performance for how scuffed my setup is. Still have to work on not dying to big hits but this is tanking nearly all bosses which I've wanted from a build for a long time.

* A watchers eye is absolutely required for the build if you are using the coward's legacy belt. You are going to be dying a lot with out it since you will be constantly cursed with Vulnerability. I would not recommend using the belt with out the watcher's eye that makes you Vulnerability immune. I see one online right now for 30c.
* You don't need a level 4 enlighten. I made the change to the helmet and mastery in your build that I recommended above and see 111 mana left with Enlighten level 3. This is more than enough mana to run the build. I left everything else the same.
* You don't need to change the gloves
* Next, pick out the best rare ring you can afford focusing on chaos res and Channeling Skills have -4 to Mana cost so that you can sustain Incinerate. Also don't get any attributes on the new ring since you are already balanced.

Unrelated note, I decided to try Simulacrum on crit Guardian version and gave up at wave 26. I wasn't dying, but neither was Kosis. Lol. We had a stalemate. Dps on my guardian is too low. I could only drop his energy shield to about 1/10th before he would phase and it went back to full. Probably fought him for 20mins before I gave up and teleported out.
this makes a lot of sense. I remember Clay did a run for us at the beginning of 3.16 with his Elementalist character that had about 6.5m dps as well and he ran into the same dead lock problem with Kosis around level 25ish.
yesterday tried a defensive setup, swapped circle ring for corrupted determination lori's lantern, more than 85000 max armour, 4 end. ch, 10M DPS, exposure mastery, reached sim 27. today tried with max dps setup, inc. eff. of nda mastery, 64000 max armour, appr. 14M DPS completed all waves with 3 deaths. at wave 25 had appr1/3 conflux effect on hardest kosis, at w30 full effect.

How do you feel culling strike is performing? What is the reason it is linked to reckoning instead of TS?

:) I am cursed with temporal chains, a.k.a MS, a nasty one, thats why I'm using/I'm able to use only the most important skills, inci-vrf-ic. cs is nice to have, I would be more happy with raw firepower, just have no idea , how. cs is linked to reckoning because of mana reservation, linking to ts would mean only 64 u.r. mana, have to test it, if thats enough or not.

Regular mapping feels good, regular bosses feel good, but had a hard time with simulacrum. By wave 28 I was already down to my last portal and died right at the end of that wave. Guardian didn't have the dps to complete wave 26, but it didn't die at all to get there.
I think this version will be better once I get the last few levels to pick up more armour/es nodes.
My final thoughts on Guardian is this:
1. Go crit even with Guardian, EO version wasn't worthwhile
2. Guardian is the version to go with if you want something super tanky for conqueror and guardian fragment farming.
3. If you want to push harder content like simulacrum or new end game bosses go with Inquisitor.

I tweaked a little bit my inqusitor for simulacrum, tried a new set of flasks (this is not my idea, saw it in another build)

pob is adjusted for 22/12/15 conflux, that was the minimum during sim.
now I'm using only 1 vaal skill, vrf, so all gained souls go to that one, it is recharged faster too.
the point is, maybe it was just luck with the mods, but managed to complete simulacrum with only one death:) and I died not because of kosis, it happened, because I had a jade flask, I forgot, that evasion is no good for us, after swapping it, everything was fine. I had at least 75-80% conflux effect on Kosis and Omni. and at last, I had almost 50% reduced curse effect, thanks to the flask mod.
after sim with longer bossfights, I'm not convinced, that culling strike with reckoning is working as it should, I'd like to find a solution for that too.

That's awesome! I was thinking about making the same flask change. I started with the "on crit" mod on my flasks because stupid me forgot that you still count as being hit even if you block the hit. Are you getting better charges with the "on hit" flasks? I used that setup on another character and loved it because it was basically 100% uptime on the flasks.
One change I would suggest trying for your POB is to change your crit mastery. Instead of +3 to crit gems choose "50% increased effect". Would give you a total of 90% increased effect which I think would be enough to hit max stacks on Kosis. If yes, there's no DPS loss because the difference between 22 scorch and 30 scorch makes up what you lost from crit gem levels.
