That's awesome! I was thinking about making the same flask change. I started with the "on crit" mod on my flasks because stupid me forgot that you still count as being hit even if you block the hit. Are you getting better charges with the "on hit" flasks? I used that setup on another character and loved it because it was basically 100% uptime on the flasks.

One change I would suggest trying for your POB is to change your crit mastery. Instead of +3 to crit gems choose "50% increased effect". Would give you a total of 90% increased effect which I think would be enough to hit max stacks on Kosis. If yes, there's no DPS loss because the difference between 22 scorch and 30 scorch makes up what you lost from crit gem levels.

thanks:) tried the on crit flask too, these ones work better, 7 hits on me and flask usable again. would work even better without the stibnite flask:) changing the mastery sounds like a very good idea, I cant push the dps much higher, but your suggestion costs only 1 regret, that is awesome:)

Is this a change I should make to the base POB or is this only a change for the hardest content in the game?

From what I've seen, Brigetiol please chime in if you have other thoughts from your testing, the base tree can stay as is. I was hitting max stacks on all T16 bosses and conquerors without the extra 50%. Probably only need it for simulacrum farming and possibly the new end game bosses once we see who they are and their ehp.

Edit: Actually, maybe change the +3 to 50% and change the ele mastery back to exposure? It's slightly less dps, but would make the ailments stacks more consistent across all content?

I'm wondering if there's a way to fit this new jewel in the build?

We already get +5 cold from Aegis. If we used Leadership's Price with +3 cold we wouldn't need to worry at all about the other resistances on it and have 86% max all res. The downside is I think it will be hard to make up the -76% resistances.

Seems to me like the -res might have some sort of range?

If it's something like 40-80% and you can get a good roll, it might be doable... Although I doubt we would be able to cap chaos res then too...

I'll have to run a sim again to test, I cant see numerical changes in pob about the additional 50 percent, but maybe I'm just out of focus...

edit: i'm out of focus, can even format a post properly:)

Would someone be able to make sense of what happened to me here? This isn't chaos damage right?

It is arguably the most difficult regular boss(es) in the game for us. I never ever run that map unless I absolutely have to. Those 3 are so over tuned, they are more powerful than any of the 8 guardians and 4 conquerors.

There is only one way to win that fight. You have to go in and target IMMEDIATELY the boss that casts the firestorms. If those go off before you can kill it, you will die. The boss you need to target first is called K'aj Q'ura.

I am never good in being able to see exactly what kills me in this game (I would love a kill log of the last 5 seconds of every battle to be stored some where).

The three of them use various skills, here is the full list from wiki

K'aj Y'ara'az

Dual Strike
Deals 150% Damage.

Fire Enrage
Grants 50% increased Attack Speed
Grants 50% increased Movement Speed
Grants 200% of Physical Damage as Extra Fire Damage
Base duration is 5 seconds.

Empowered Fire Enrage

Grants 50% increased Attack Speed
Grants 75% increased Movement Speed
Grants 320% of Physical Damage as Extra Fire Damage
Base duration is 10 seconds.

K'aj Q'ura

Demon Cleave
Deals 100% Damage
50% reduced Attack Speed
Applies 2 stacks of Corrupted Blood on Hit

Enraged Demon Cleave
Deals 100% Damage
50% reduced Attack Speed
Applies 8 stacks of Corrupted Blood on Hit

Cyclone
Deals 60% Damage
180% increased Attack Speed
150% more Movement Speed

K'aj A'alai

Rain of Arrows
Deals 200% Damage

Firestorm
Deals X to Y Physical Damage
Base duration is 4 seconds
One impact every 0.09 seconds.

Enraged Firestorm
Deals X to Y Physical Damage
Base duration is 30 seconds
One impact every 0.13 seconds

I think so too that it will be hard to make up the difference.

Clay is correct in that the 76 is just a rolled number. We do not yet know that the range is.

We likely have far too many uniques to make this work for us. The only way I could see us capping to the 80's would be to drop Circle of Anguish and stacking as much ele resist as we can get on a rare ring. We would probably also have to scrape some resistance from the cluster jewels.

We could probably test this pretty easily in POB to see how far we are off by just adding the stat "-76% to all Elemental Resistances" to the custom modifier window.

This is something I guess we can play with in league since it is really cheap to test when the time comes. Until we get a feel for what the league mechanic is like, I am going to try and limit changes until we have a better feel.

Does that make sense or is this more of a no brainer to change?
