Really enjoying the build so far. Not as fast as builds I've played before but not dying makes up for the lack of speed.

I was wondering if you could take a look at and let me know what you think the next best upgrade path to take is? I went for a budget version at first. I was thinking a level 4 empower would be a good thing to go for next.

Looks great!!

Empower level 3 is better than Fire Pen Level 20 according to the build guide. So if you can afford a level 4 Empower, that is even better.

Only question I have is how is your armor? I noticed that you don't take either of the nodes Soul of Steel and Steelwood Stance, both of which are important to the armor synergy of the build.

In POB with flasks popped I am at 40k armor. Do you think I should replace Command of Steel? I was just trying to pump out a little more damage because right now some of the bigger bosses do take a while to die.

This is a matter of preference. If you feel your survivability is strong enough now and you need more damage, stay with Command of Steel.

As you progress, you can squeeze out a little more damage with Empower Level 4, and the Awakened gems in the Incinerate Setup. At that time you can then maybe make a decision as to whether you want to swap the anoints or not.

You can also free up 3 skill points once you move to Enlighten Level 4 (or move to the Hands of the High Templar setup I mentioned earlier), which can then be used to grab Steelwood Stance.

You can also experiment with a flask change, swapping out a Basalt Flask for a Silver flask for more damage. I feel like the Basalt flask loses some of its synergy with the build once we have good armor and the Endurance Charges.

It has been my first good day in the league. Build has progressed nicely for me.

*I have my Hands of the High Templar + Enlighten 3 in place

*I picked up the Cowards Belt

*As part of rebalancing my resists, I lucked out and had fire as my highest and then cold and lighting were exactly the same below fire, which allows for both of them to benefit from The Wise Oak

* I have a lower effective life pool now (currently 7700), but much better chaos resist which I hope is a good trade off

Next 3 purchases are all expensive:

Empower 4
The helmet enchant (+2 to max incinerate stages)
Soul of the Steel anoint (The golden oils are super expensive right now).

I am crushing T16 (semi juiced) red maps so I hope I can keep generating currency quickly.

Can you share your equipaments pls ?
Im Also pretty happy with this build.
First, some jewels are a little expensive, so i put a tempest shield and frost shield on CWTD setup, instead of Wave of conviction and combustion, for get the max spell block.
The skin of the royal with the right sockets is also not cheap, so i'm using a kingsguard for now ( is better them the tabula).
Be able to get a max roll Aegis, trying get the 30% quality beast now.

Doing firsts Red maps preaty clean, not getting much maps drop so im stagned in t12-13, but sometimes i take some insta kill hit (dont know where is from, not reflect, just dmg).

My setup right now, advices are welcome.

Looks solid. here are some comments

1] the beast for 30% is really cheap right now if you are having problems finding him through Eainar. I paid 4c per beast just yesterday.

2] when looking for the skin of the loyal, don't search on just 4 blue, 2 red. If you increase your searches to include white sockets you can find some bargains. I picked up my all white skin for about half of what a 4 blue 2 red goes for.

3] The biggest change I would recommend would be to remove the old lightning warp setup. It was replaced by the following last league, and it is so much better: Link Flame Dash, Second Wind and Infernal Cry together. The synergy is nuts for the build. It gives you almost infinite flame dashing and significantly more uses of infernal Cry, both of which increase clear speed

4] As soon as you can afford it, make sure you anoint the boots with Inexorable. That is great for the build in general but in particular has a nice synergy with Kingsguard.

5] Fire Penetration support is better than Empower until Empower reaches level 3. You can make that switch in your setup now and continue to level Empower if you want in your weapon swap slot. It takes for ever to get to level 3 so it will probably just be easier to buy a level 3 eventually.

6] As of right now, your Wise Oak flask is almost useless. The goal when using Wise Oak is to make sure the element you deal damage with is also your highest uncapped resist. Right now Cold is your highest upcapped resist. To benefit from Wise Oak, you need Fire to be highest. I would remove the Wise Oak until you rebalance your resists, which will happen a couple of more times as you upgrade your gear. If and when Fire is your highest, add back in Wise Oak.

Is there a good flask option to replace Granite flask once we get the 90% phys damage reduction outside of Flasks? Right now I am running with

Maybe just a quicksilver flask of Warding/Curing or something?

I might be mistaken but I don't think the build has the ability to get to 90% phy reduction without the granite flask.

Right now with out the granite flask, you are at 59% phy reduction.

Regarding the quicksilver flask, I would not use it. It has no effect on the build due to the boots. However, I would recommend a "curing" flask of any kind. Poison is one of the few items we are vulnerable to.
