Our Reasoning Behind the 3.13 Launch Delay

This felt genuine to me and makes me realize you don't consider yourself the end all be all game (like blizzard treats their games) To me Harvest was only fun because it was OP felt like standard but hey make mirror tier items. Honestly, Heist was and is still pretty meh for me. It has been awhile since I have been hooked and not just playing for challenges. I really hope you all get some well deserved time off and release a product that is exciting again.

Thanks for the explanation Chris and I really appreciate the fact that you're making this decision not only based on what's good for the game and the studio, but also the devs working in the studio with you.
So many other studios (including CDPR) push their devs into insane crunch in order to meet some sort of deadline and in the end waiting a few extra weeks doesn't (or shouldn't) make that much of a difference on the player side. Take the extra time, work on the game and make sure that you release it in a gold state and we'll end up being very happy and forget that we had to wait 4 extra weeks for it!! :) |

I understand being disappointed with the delay; when I saw the announcement and the reasoning behind it, if thought they needed more time to work on the new league, and came up with a bullsh*t excuse.
But reading this, it makes total sense wanting to postpone. They are not gonna willingly shoot themselves in the foot and sacrifice months of work And to everyone one who say "huuum, I don't even play Cyberpunk, no one who plays poe is interested in that game, wth", I suggest you read past the title. |

Having to choose the least bad case in a bunch of all bad scenarios is always a hard time, but I trust in the team's sense and decision.
My two points tho: - Be prepared if CB77 has another delay announced, as it's really possible. - I lost the battle royale event back then and I'd love to have that chance again, consider it please. |

" December 10th would still put it two weeks after Shadowlands. Also Shadowlands is just and expansion. Not the launch of a AAA title like Cyberpunk 2077. Also what you consider not good reasons doesn't make them not a good reason. There are those that celebrate the holidays and like to spend time with their family. The devs are like you and me, we don't live at our jobs. Well due to the virus they are probably still working at home. But normally they don't live at GGG and neither do we live at our workplace. Diablo 2 is a 20 year old title. How in the hell will a 20 year old game that many players can no doubt get all they want to do on it along side of playing a game like this one quite easily. Then when they are done with placing on the ladder they can stay with PoE the rest of the time. Even though it is disappointing to you. You should still show that you respect their decision and move on. Them just launching 3.13 throwing caution to the wind might've hurt them financially to the point where it could either delay 3.14. Or cause them to have to cut employees just to get the expansion out to appease ones like you. They have to take the lesser of two evils. Knowing full well they cannot please everyone. Just mentioning a game as the reason for such delay isn't advertising it as saying we want you to be playing it because they feel it is a kick butt game. It is just merely stating facts void of any emotion. At least that is how I view it. |

Love your work and totally understand the decision.
I'll use the time to explore a few different builds  |

ive never even heard of cyberpunk lol but im fine with this league lasting 4 months instead of 3. i much rather wait 1 more month and have a good release than another rush-released/unfinished league.
also is there a proper reason why the mtx are so overpriced? i want to buy more, hell i would buy probably all of them if they were 75% cheaper.. like they should be 1 or 2 bucks each. wouldnt like way more people buy them then? always thought mtx are supposed to be micro transactions. where u spend 1 or 2 bucks here and there and at the end of the year ur like wtf i spent like 2000 on mtx wtf lol but with this its like .. 100 dollars for a decent set.. uhh.. obviously i dont know how business model works or anything but i know for sure that i spent wayyyy less money on PoE than i have other games just because the price per mtx is way too high and makes me not want to spend often :3
