Divination Card Stories: The Tumbleweed

Great story!
This resonates way too much with me for my liking -.0

Except in many other cases, it's not an actual tumbleweed, but a katamari of controllers and cables and charging jacks and the occasional string of christmas lights.
[19:36]#Mirror_stacking_clown: try smoke ganja every day for 10 years and do memory game
And this is why I love this series! When I first saw this card my initial reaction was "What idiot paid to make this (almost) useless card??" Reading the reasoning behind it though triggers so many memories and suddenly the card is pretty poggers!
I like this story almost as much as I hate Wasteland maps (and Desert, where this drops)
Le Toucan Will Return
Great story. Each of these great stories further reinforces my belief that these custom designs can only be for personal symbolism and there can be no expectation of meta relevance. Something useful for me to bear in mind.

This was the first card that made my friends and I laugh because of the art. Glad to hear of its story!
Haha, awesome. Was wondering why the heck somebody would make this card, but this makes way too much sense. =D

Really enjoying this series! ^^

Not sure about that.
The card's story is interesting, but it's guaranteed to be hidden in every lootfilter, since, well, it's Map Tier 2 in current atlas. Should be at least Watchstone Count: 4 (honestly, every map reward card should have this by default) :(

There is a reason that every single of my cards (including the one which is planned for 3.14, which could, though unlikely, change, since I am waiting for patch notes) features double corrupted items - this provides at least some kind of gameplay relevance, even if the item in question would be nerfed, it would provide an idea "what if such item would come as double-corrupted" (since, in this case no one would spend their Altar on nerfed out-of-meta now item).

I’m not sure double corrupt alone will keep the card relevant gameplay wise. And that’s exactly my point. That these custom designs mostly satisfy creators’ desire to have personal symbols embedded to the game. To expect that your card has lasting gameplay relevance is to set yourself for disappointment.

You're right in a way.
Still, I hope it would keep it more relevance than Map Tier 2 card.
"The Web"'s example still exists though, to see how balance changes could render an idea completely unuseable, so you're certainly right about personal relevance. I just hope that my cards would stay relevant at least for one league, because it's quite sad to see it hidden in loot filters (so no one would actually pick it up in game itself).
