You're right in a way.
Still, I hope it would keep it more relevance than Map Tier 2 card.
"The Web"'s example still exists though, to see how balance changes could render an idea completely unuseable, so you're certainly right about personal relevance. I just hope that my cards would stay relevant at least for one league, because it's quite sad to see it hidden in loot filters (so no one would actually pick it up in game itself).

It is very sad indeed.

Not sure about that.
The card's story is interesting, but it's guaranteed to be hidden in every lootfilter, since, well, it's Map Tier 2 in current atlas. Should be at least Watchstone Count: 4 (honestly, every map reward card should have this by default) :(

There is a reason that every single of my cards (including the one which is planned for 3.14, which could, though unlikely, change, since I am waiting for patch notes) features double corrupted items - this provides at least some kind of gameplay relevance, even if the item in question would be nerfed, it would provide an idea "what if such item would come as double-corrupted" (since, in this case no one would spend their Altar on nerfed out-of-meta now item).

Maybe so, but still, your imput remains in the game which is nice. Others never care about your story as much as you do anyway. One type of card could stay relevant for a while though: currency related cards. I once got 5 exalts from the emperor's luck card so while it is usually 5 armour shards or something, people like me are picking those cards up anyway. A common card that gives a stack of alts also isn't in the game yet i think. Would be neat.

Every two implicit krangled unique card is at least niche usable at present. Some much more so.

They may not remain there forever but they will be used for a while. Also there's challenges for them in many leagues.

Tumbleweed creator here (nasaboy007). I personally chose this reward knowing very well that it would instantly be hidden from every loot filter, and that's totally OK with me. I designed it for myself, and having it be a useless reward means that it'll be relatively common (since GGG decides the drop rate), and I'd be able to get a copy for myself every league very easily (either self farming or just buying it for like 1c). I think it just comes down to opinions of what the creators want, but both philosophies of "give me a relevant reward" and "I just want my card in the game" are equally valid. I happen fall into the latter group! :)

I see, and if that card makes you happy, this design is fine :)
However, why not make it "Watchstone Count: 4"? I mean, it would still be 1-3c at worst, since T14 are going for 7-10c after first days of the league, but it could have practical application (like Chateau Watchstone Count: 4 divination card was good in Mayhem to get to T14 maps).

There are so many cards with maps as rewards, and every single of them could be fixed with Watchstone Count: 4 to be decently relevant. GGG decided to do that just for Perandus Manor's cards for some reason on Sirus' release.
