I dont believe it until I see it.

You guys talked alot about improvements in the past.

don't expect major change. it is small improvement.
like they were also other small improvement in the past.

Instead of small improvements I experienced big performance decreases in nearly every single gfx-setting-scenario on an absolte beast computer...

I expect nothing good if they talk about improvements anymore

GGG add too much stuff to stress the server, so that the lag /freeze/ crash no longer caused by you have SSD, 32 GB ram or monster graphic card or not....

And GGG don't even use their own forum....use twitter instead.

No reply but just edit the first post of the thread.....

Yesterday we indicated that we expected to post the 3.13.2 Patch this week. We've uncovered an issue during testing that's serious enough that we cannot safely deploy the patch before the holiday weekend in NZ. We will let you know our new ETA soon. Our apologies for the delay.

Will those changes also help console performance?
Great stuff, really enjoying the direction lately.
Thanks for adressing the problem, really, this patch shows that GGG listen to their playerbase, and we appreciate it at lot.

Even if it's just a 5% increase, not dying due to screen clutter will make the game much less frustrating for a lot of people. Keep up the good work!

I recall Chris saying on multiple occasions not to delete this folder because it makes no sense to. I have been backing up all my shader files incase in the event I somehow lose them all.

Can someone from GGG please address the validity of this? Will the deletion of this folder actually improve performance? Can we backup the shader files and replace them after? The patch notes state "Old minimap and shader data", does that mean only the old shader data will be removed and new shader data will stay in the folder?

It has to do with GPU drivers. Most modern games like COD, Horizon Zero Dawn, even emulators like CEMU will make you rebuild the shader data if you change your GPU drivers. Old shaders compiled by old drivers can cause issues on newer drivers, so its a lot better to let the game rebuild them just in case
