Approximate Numerical Orb Values Here!

There is already a tool made, using your figures roughly, to calculate orb values

You sure that's such a bad price? 4-links don't exactly grow on trees, think of how many fusings you'd need to get one.

Either way, I think the item prices are much less clear than the orb prices, and it's too bad that there's even less information about them.

I attempted to sell a couple 4links, couldn't even get an alch for one. May have been stingy people, but I don't think I'll get a chaos back for them unless they're in a rush.

I definitely can't quantify item prices. Those are almost completely subjective. I may, at some later point, get some base values for common things (ie 4link items.) Not right now.

I tried that link, no luck.
Yup.

If we're talking about default ladder, regret orbs are currently of lower value while alchemist is of higher value for obvious reasons after the reset.

Hm.. Assuming my current values are nearly correct, and the spreadsheet's values were correct at the time, the gap has closed significantly. For example, it used to be that Exalted were worth 800 time Alterations, and would be set at $800 if using my scale.

I wonder if that happens naturally as a league matures, or if it's been altered due to changes in droprates and orb usage.

Curious to know what you think they would be at, currently. I'm not finding a lot of opportunities to personally trade lots of orbs - I own very few to experiment with. More input from other sources is appreciated.
Yup.

Bumping in pursuit of knowledge. If anyone has any information on the relative values for Transmutation, Augmentation, Chance, Chromatic, Blessed, Whetstone, Armor scrap, or Glassblower, it would be really useful. Any time you used them to buy something, or sold them, this patch preferably, is useful.
Yup.
traded quality flicker strike 6% for chaos and alch orb....
From my experience, the values are closer to:

Chromatic = $1
Alteration = $1
Jewelers = $2
Fusing = $8
Alchemy = $7
Scouring = $7
Chaos = $14
Regret = $14
Regal = $40
GCP = $48
Divine = $192
Exalted = $384

Chromatics often bought in large packs for prices similar to alterations.

Fusings are definitely worth slightly more than Orbs of Alchemy. You constantly see people offer alchemy for fusings 1:1, but rarely the other way around. Ditto for Regal and GCP.

I often hear the "3.5 chaos ~ GCP" figure thrown about, as well as "6 fusings ~ GCP". The most fusings ever offered for a GCP anymore is 7. 8+ is a highly outdated and inaccurate figure, back when people didn't realize the value of fusings.

Now I'm not sure, but I think that may have been low. Flicker seems to be a very highly desired skill, quality on that should be super valuable. I may be mistaken. Thank you.

Very useful information. I had felt that fusings felt a bit too cheap compared to others, but thought maybe they dropped really often at high levels or something. Although I won't adjust the list to exactly what you've stated, I'll move some numbers around closer to that. If more people back it up, I'll shift it more. I think that's a good way to go about this.

If anyone has information on how accurate this is, just go ahead and let me know. If he's totally right, I'll be moving more towards it over time.
Yup.
