I'm not even going to try to educate you to basic math, 3.15 fell off a cliff at the start, after 1 week, after 2 weeks. After that the league was just scraps of folks who would play no matter what so of course player numbers leveled out after that.

I've never seen such skewed summation of statistics. 3.15 started off much, much lower than the recent leagues prior to it. It continued to decline thereafter. You are pointing towards % drops which is completely flawed. Would you say a league with 10 players at league start, and 5 players at league end was more successful than a league with 100k players at the start, and 45k at the end, because the latter had a higher percentile drop off? Its clear you are not proficient with numbers or analytics.

The % drops were relatively low for 3.15 because nobody played it from the start!

okay whatever, but i think its time to start moving away from completely random outcomes from currency orbs. especially considering this will be 3x as rare as an ex
My reaction to this and most of the changes is just: why, why spend resources on this? The character building in PoE is already in good shape compared to other games, and it's questionable that any of these changes are making things better (aside from repairing the damage done to ailment immunity in 3.15).

Meanwhile, the PvE gameplay is terrible and rare items haven't been worth picking up for years.
What's the point in them being so rare? How much extra defense does a high roll chest give compare to a low rolled one? I don't feel like the small amount amount of power they give justifies the rarity.

It's also hard to be excited about a perfect defense roll on an item unless the rest of the mods are good. And we know this will never happen because good items don't drop in PoE, they're all crafted.

Overall, I don't mind the sacred orbs or the defence variable but I don't think it will affect me much while playing but we'll see. I'm stoked about the other defence changes tho
PoE is a great game and GGG is an amazing transparent open minded company. This whining in the forums is seriously pathetic.

You really should experience other games and companies. You will not have a quality of this game in ANY way.

If you do not like it grind in D3 and get bored :D

Why can't you just buff bases with flat 10%? So much simpler, better and faster without introducing yet another retarded layer of RNG. We got enough of that.
