What We're Working On

bored already... well other games are calling, just bloody give chris his hard mode and leave the core game alone
The second reason is that we removed a massive historic bonus to item quantity and/or rarity that applied to some league-specific monsters. We replaced it with a moderate (2-3x) increase to item quantity, to offset the fact that they often have more life than regular monsters and some cannot drop maps.

GGG, please. Undo this change. This rocked the core of the game's foundations and if you leave it like this, you'll forever change what the game is and not in a good way. :( I've been here since 2013, supported you through all the ups and downs but this is one of the most perplexing changes and I just cannot understand how you could do this and not even mention it before now :( I'm actually stunned.
I'm usually really positive about most things you guys do, but this

how was this something not put in the patch notes, heck this is even balance manifesto worthy.

I know you guys are going to tweak somethings to make it feel better, but please when you are making changes this large, tell us.

I'm not going to go to an extreme and say I'm never spending money again, but this league has taught me not to buy a supporter pack(s) until a few weeks into the league. If I feel unhappy about the state of the game a few weeks in, I'll skip that one, and if I enjoy the state of the next league, then I'll grab one then.

I love your game, if I didn't, I would not even be posting here because I would move on. Even if what you want to do will make the people angry, please tell us about it, don't just change something this big and not tell us, that just makes it worse because it makes us question why you would not tell us.

It's sad to see what has been widely appraised as THE best ARPG on the market killing itself off due to the company having a design philosophy that's no longer in line with the player base. GGG used to be one of the most in touch companies.

It feels like GGG refuses to recognize that problem indicated by this thread growing to 100 pages in 1 day goes well beyond just this league or those specific nerfs/bugs. The very core of their business model is finally failing, because people are simply tired. Tired of being dragged through very same content with very same mobs and very few fresh ideas.

AN going core was not just a difficulty spike, it did blend all kinds of existing content into one and the same experience. And instead of improving gameplay diversity (viable builds, wholly different gameplay like Blight and Heist were once), GGG only does their usual meta shifts, taking people's interest for granted.

This model was bound to collapse sooner or later, and 3.19 crude tampering with the whole economy pushed it over the edge. First divine changes, then harvest changes, and then whole lootsystem spiraled down. And for what? New scenery of Alva temple and 1 new boss?

Sorry to say it devs, but you risk not making it till PoE 2 unless you dedicate more attention to what you have now, while you still have it.

I don't remember the game being this bad ever.
to recall my favourite blizzcon quote:
"is this an out of season april fools joke?"

For real nothing to say about this other then:

you can create the perfect game of how you (ggg) envision it, but if no one else thinks its perfect it is trash. and the people playing it wont play it for long after.
admit defeat on archnemesis, just give us back the normal reroll fire cold etc and divines for harvest in addition to the currency for the horticraft station dropping.

fix the game no wonder people dont want to play it.
you tought us to sprint for the past 9 years but u guys expect us to run a marathon that gets longer from league to league.

and to put it simple THIS IS NOT HOW WE WANT TO PLAY!
this league is really something all crafts nerfed
and the arch-nemesis shit show everywhere cant avoid
30 magic mobs throwing projectiles with arch nemesis mod buffing them
chill ground/poison ground/ burning ground everywhere
on top of that they nerfed minions life more to keep dieing since the acts
and flasks charges nerfed again with less mana
and will need keep fighting every rare for 1 minute why not?
who tested this and said was ok?

So very very, disappointing

Similar to most poe players, this was MY game, the #1, most incredible game to ever exist.

Recent changes have removed any sense or progression or achievement. There's so much hours one can spend using the same skill to kill packs of mobs. That sense or progression is needed to play past the 10h mark every league.

Changes in the last year were not enjoyed, but I love the game and adapted as much as possible to the new way players are expected to play.

Unfortunately, the changes this past week are far beyond expectations and enjoyment. It now officially feels like a chore.

I truly wish nothing, nothing, more than the game being enjoyable again through a tangible sense of control of progress. But it's not it.

Farewell, exiles :( It was fun while it lasted. Thank you GGG for the great years.
This is Expedition again. You need to walk everything in this patch back and try again. Say you were wrong please. Just walk it all back and communicate everything before you do it and see the feedback before just doing it. This is just another complete fail.
Overall League is nice to play i really enjoy kalandra league (i skipped previous one cuz i didnt like league mechanic) but GGG have you even tried new archnemesis rare mobs? they are just too powerful and tanky as hell.. I could one shot boss while i have trouble with rares... That is so frustrating
