3.19.0c Patch Notes and Update on Community Feedback

Balance stuff… just don’t completely cave to the whining. The game needed to be harder… this is exactly what happened to the hunt. The wrong part of the community constantly whined and now the game is absolutely garbage. Don’t let PoE become a whiner-baby game. Please god, don’t conform.

This was* my favorite game of all time. Please stop killing it. Your player base is not a thing you should piss on. We like making itens and we need a good Harvest system. Loot we need to filter is better than nothing. This is a very Janky Old-Fashioned game we only play because is fun and have good weighted interactions, if you make too unrewarding, the casuals will leave, then the streams and finnaly the 1% who realizes how good games should be. Dont make little of our times.

It’s funny because it’s the exact opposite. People whined for years the game was too easy. After 4 days, a lot of ppl would be geared and quit. Now it’s harder to get gear and kids whine. Epitome gamers. Too easy? Whine. Gets made to be harder? Whine. Nerf? Whine. Wrong buff? Whine.

I understand that they're trying to slowly implement PoE 2 changes into this version of the game but at the end of the day these are 2 different games. At this point PoE2 is just something that's too far ahead.

Having said that, I'm personally not looking forward to PoE2 if this is the direction the game wants to go. Why would I want to play a more polished version of other ARPGs? I want to play PoE. I want to go fast, farm, and build obscenely strong builds.
Please stop taking the fun out of the game, bring back 3.13. That was peak PoE and almost any player could agree on that.

I don't need to stress nor waste time playing this version of PoE. I just want to have fun after work. I want to watch others have fun. Everything is so grim now, the addition of AN, loot "1.5", removal of harvest (let's be honest, harvest is in it's worst state now, since ever), the massive nerfs to player power, qol, build diversity, defences and FUN over the last 3-5 leagues really makes me scratch my head... This is not the company I "invested" in. I bought supporter packs because I was supporting the idea of having fun, not this sleeper Version of the game.

this is such a bad joke, you've gutted a few builds that were not even overpowered and destroyed most league mechanics that rely on quantity
literally only heist, ritual and essence (if you can actually handle a 7 essence 3 mod twinned monster that can hit you from 2.5 screens away) are somewhat feeling decent for trade but even then people do not have the currency to buy anything.

harvest now feels like it should be fully removed from the game, there's a few niche usages but that's all

archnemesis was a mistake from the start, it affects way too much of the game and since you don't even playtest the game anymore things got really out of hand when it comes to damage and hp values of rares (especially Einhar beasts, essence monsters, legion rares or the worst of them all: red Einhar beast essence monster). Please play the game yourselves without using a build that is meta (because most of the playerbase is not meta chasing) with mediocre gear to simulate a day 2/3 experience and tell us if it feels good cause i'm tired of close to 0 rewards for uber pinnacle bosses tier of effort. When map bosses melt in 3 hits and rares take minutes, there's something really wrong with your numbers. I was joking last league that there is for sure a rare mob somewhere tankier than uber shaper, now i'm not joking anymore.

by ninja removing that "historically quant increase" you have destroyed most atlas strategies that rely on random drops instead of set drop conditions (strongbox, legion, the new harvest, abyss and breach)

at this moment harbingers feel extremely useless because there are no divine shards and in i don't even how many leagues since harbinger league, while farming them almost every league one way or another, i haven't seen a mirror shard (i know that rng is a thing but not having something inbetween mirror shard and chaos shard makes them a lot less profitable). you could just as well remove them and add their orbs to the regular currency drop tables.

at the end of the day, your profits rely on the playerbase buying things.if the playerbase drops by 50%+ in the first week because of ninja nerfs and bad decisions (archnemesis, harvest rework and others) it should raise an alarm that sometimes your decisions are not always the best for the game.

i love this game and have been playing it for a long time but i can't get over the fact that it is slowly becoming a full time job to be progressing at the pace that we were used to in early 3.x leagues.

Please let us know so we can make an informed choice as to whether we want to continue on or find something else to play. I realize that you will feel that you can't do that because you will lose player base but I think you are going to lose it anyway. Have you seen the negativity of your usually positive streamers?

I love this game, or should I say loved?

I've changed my filter so that Alchemy orbs make the tching sound.

I'm not itching to play after work like I normally do this early in a league.
I have no idea how I'm going to upgrade my league starter so it can DO IT'S JOB and prepare for my actual character and I have absolutely no idea how I'm going to gear that with the current situation.

I'm not a pro at this game but I'm not a pleb either. I feel my last leagues main was a very decent character. I enjoyed putting it together and it took me a long time (Almost the whole league) and I enjoyed doing it. I used a mix of harvest, betrayal, meta crafting (tiny bit of recombinators), all of it took LOADS of currency (about 300ex). This league I'm struggling to roll my maps.

I'm learning that companies have their hey day and then fade. It used to be that Blizzard could do no wrong but I've not played a game of theirs for a long while. Is it your turn to fade? Why though?

Every time I listen to proposed changes I think. "Do they even play this game? They don't actually seem to understand the effect of things"

Did your testers tell you that the players were going to love this? If so do they test with uber characters?
