Too late, better luck next league.

" This sums up how I feel. I paid GGG when I could try and play many different skills and builds and have some success and fun while doing it. Sure, not everything I tried or played could be successful at taking on higher red tier maps or end-game, but most everything was able to get well into yellow tier maps before running into issues, and it was fun doing so; so, much so that you'd want to go back to the drawing board and try again. Or take a break and load up your tried and true and go stomp enemies for a while. Now, we are pigeon holed into playing 3 or 4 builds, and if you don't play them you will have zero success at the game. It's just not fun to not be able to have success with the skills and builds you'd like to play. There are just way too many useless skills in POE. GGG seriously needs to stop with the new skills and fix or revamp the skills that are already in the game. What's the point of adding a new skill that obsoletes an existing skill, meaning it's same damage type, same mechanics, but to be new and different simply adds one thing the existing skills doesn't do? Doing this is just silly. You just took something that worked and made it useless. It would have been better to just revamp the existing skill and add the one new thing to it. Done this way, you don't have a useless skill gem dropping or listed in a vendor window that no one will ever pick. |

Some good stuff, but it's unfortunate how these posts continue to feel like there's a gap between what the devs think and what the players feel.
The MF/Culler issue is purely because of AN mods affecting the loot. They shouldn't. It was an interesting idea, but it failed...just stop and let the loot drop like normal. One thing that was nice to see is the "limit amount of AN mods...". The entire concept of AN is ruined when there're multiple mods. GGG: What if you could see a rare and immediately know what the threat is based on visuals? Players: Yeah that'd be sick! GGG: Cool we put 4 mods on the same mob and the entire idea doesn't work. Players: What? GGG: Yeah now we made it 8 and they affect the loot table so you need to hire someone to kill mobs! Players: <uninstall> The minion notes mentioned here do not inspire hope. The RF mob is an issue yes, but it's not the only issue. You gutted their survivability, forced us to get it on gear instead, and the gear isn't even enough. Was hoping to see a much different note about this. Lake is still the literal least rewarding league mechanic we've seen in MANY years. When the league mechanic isn't worth doing, it's just a 3-month cycle of the same game we just played...but without the fun of the last league...so why would you login? I've been saying since launch that the "loot issues" would NOT feel as bad if we were getting currency explosions from the actual league mechanic. Even if a map dropped zero currency, but it progressed the new mechanic, which then rained loot, you wouldn't feel as bad. Juicing would still be bricked but at least the majority of your less-hardcore players won't feel like it's a waste of time. I personally think a behind-the-scenes chat with some of the content creators, NOT recorded, just candid "Hey please help us work this out" would really help. Mobile games have better trading...

Problem: People are upset with our shit design vision
Solution: Nerf currency, Nerf minions, Nerf damage, Nerf drops, Nerf skills, Buffed monster movement speed. This is an overall buff according to vision! |

" Depends on what they wanna do. If it's more 'fixing' and making 'stuff better' like they did with Harvest, Bestiary, Synthesis (yeah, shitty mechanic but re-work would've been more viable then removal), Delve, Archnemesis (forced upon us in the main game), the enforced meta-rotations by willy-nilly balancing stuff and last but not least how they changed the loot towards 'loot goblins' then yes... people won't be happy. Obviously so. Otherwise? They will. " That's because we're children which incompetent parents. They try but they just can't handle it anymore. They're out of their league seemingly, or that's how it seems. GGG is the type of parents telling their kids 'you MUST get into this job or otherwise you won't enjoy it' and hence ruining years of their life. The type of parents people come back to 10 years later and finally reconcile... after they don't have any sort of influence on their life anymore but not before. GGG balance is like getting a pizza which is burnt on the sides, raw in the middle and misses the most of the toppings.
Then upon sending it back you get a raw side, burnt middle and enough toppings to drench everything in grease. Everything fixed but still broken. |

" Why? Have you used it? It's already much cheaper to craft a 4l with working bench and use tainted fusings to 6l rather than 1500 fuses and vaal orbs. I'm surprised they're buffing it at all. Tainted jewelers need the most love. Last edited by Ardziv#1837 on Aug 31, 2022, 11:50:36 AM

I wonder why summons with a billion ehp die on some rare monsters in half second.
They probably had a multiplier x10, like mercs in d2 on bosses, players then can tank few hits normally :) |

" Well hurry up & get some, or stop internalizing what you've got, Jewel Implicits & regal crafts get you some traction fast, if not a lot. Also don't you think you simply forgot the purpose of historically arbitrarily juicing IIQ/IIR of League content in your success? The purpose was to make league content popular in order to enable your continued and unabated success. Rectify the issue for the leaguers idgaf on STD, but your whole IP hinges on perceived notions & expectations around league releases and the league experience. In that sense working on LoK a LOT makes sense, but boy are you gunna have to work fast, & work smart. |
