Lag spikes since 3.20

Hey guys,

i had the same Issues, for me the following helped:

1. Change DNS to 8.8.8.8 (google dns server)
2. activated IPv6
3. (in CMD wiht Admin rights) ipconfig /flushdns
4. (in CMD with Admin rights) netsh winsock reset catalog
5. Restart PC

would be nice to know if that helps someone

Edit: did not fix it 100%
but it is less frequent for me now

Edit2: switcht now in game Option-> Game -> Networking Mode to Predictive and now all almost all spikes are gone

Ive been getting lag spikes in 2 out of 3 instances since mid last league.
Changing the login server doesnt fix the lags, I am using a cable for gaming.

I have attached WinMTR results for both the Amsterdam aand Frankfurt server.

Changing DNS server will not help with lags in game.

Having the same issue on my laptop and my gaming pc. I also use different isps since I travel the country for work so its not that. It startde with the last patch.

Now that im in Dallas, I get a 6 ping and then randomly the game freezes and my latency goes to 10,000 for a split second then back down to a 6 ping. getting really annoying.

Same here huge latency spikes up to 6000ms, some maps are okish but every second map lags so hard I cant play it.

It's not you, it's the servers.
There's lots of people posting about it on Reddit, Discord and this forum.

hello everyone,

sadly the game is "unplayable". i know alot of people playing at the leaguestart. it was never that bad. a screenshot would make no sense. its lagging everywhere... hideouts, maps, towns just everywhere.

my PC is brandnew, almost like everything money can buy. my internet connection is fine.

what is going on??? i have no idea what i can do. it looks like alot of people have trouble these days. in global chat there is alomst every minute a message with "is it lagging for you guys?"

please GGG do something...
