But can't you just turn on the events with the click of a button? Pretty sure I heard someone fairly high up say so before it was pretty obviously made untrue over the past couple of years.

But for real, a lot of people would be happy with just a week-long BLAMT or something. At least it would look like you cared.

Kind of weird to tell us to explore NZ before ExileCon since we'd want to be back home for PoE.

the problem is that GGG overestimated their capabilities and their development team is not big enough to simultaneously develop a new game and support the old one - I miss the leagues every 3 months so much, it was wonderful.
frankly, frustrations like this lessen my desire to play PoE2 when it comes out, no matter how beautiful (in terms of graphics and art. design) this game may seem - most likely I will be upset that it took so long and affected my experience of playing in Path of Exile.

I was expecting it to be a lot sooner after ExileCon, given the recommendation to tour NZ before the con so you could be home in time for 3.22

I'm guessing someone miscalculated the workloads, or 3.22 is just going to be a massive update. Perhaps some of the more major changes are being added before the PoE2 beta? New gem system maybe?
