If you're mechanically inept or don't build defence for the fight that might be your impression

Really? I can guarantee you did not kill Lilith when D4 launched (before the exploit). That's a fact.
And I CAN guarantee you still would not be able to kill her withhout skipping mechanics.

Maybe because the numbers in taht fight were such BS that you either nuke the boss using exploit or the boss was close to impossible due to literally zero visibility and boss oneshotting you with any attack?
Making boss oneshot you and making their attacks alsmost invisible does not make the boss challenging. Its just bad design to artifically make the boss harder.
How bout this:
Or you learn how to dodge waves and play the game? There’s literally patterns showing you from which angle they’re coming and where you can sneak in a safe spot.
Same goes for Phase 2: Learn how to kite ghosts and how to avoid stuff ye?
