No outrage to make LOK event longer????

I'm not calling for outrage. don't harass or be mean to anyone.

I was hoping there'd be enough community outcry to have them make the LOk event longer. Even with the top players being degens and very good at the game, there's no way even they can really take advantage of this event. If that's the case then there's no point in anyone else even participating.

The rng for this event to be 1 week viable is too high.

typical ggg choices tho. krangeled event exists and it's the 1st and 2nd worst events we've had.

Would give it a fair chance that some "top crafters" are aiming for recombinded kalandraed +charges rings.
No wonder it's lost, it's in the middle of the jungle!
instead of krangled there should be 2 weeks of lok/sentinel. krangled is the worst event next to the ruthless events. not sure why it needs 1 week. most ppl already quit by now
The event is not supposed to be a crafting event/ league by any meaning and they only exist to fill in the gab to the next league with a little bit of fun.

If anything everyone gets the chance to take some recombinators over to standard if they care enough to play that mode to mess around with them. And Kalandra tiles are rare as fuck anyways so even two or three weeks would make it quite unlikely for someone to craft a unethical insane item with the insane luck gated behind it. Not to mention all the "top tier" crafter won't have much the opportunity to craft anyways cause they don't get to rmt their stuff like they always do in normal leagues.

My guess: If theres a dedicated competent team going for it they will pull it off. And they dont need 6 positive mods for most-charges-ever-on-one-ring or some such thing.

Some players already need weeks in order to finish some mirror tier crafts and that with a insane amount of budget and existing amount of crafting items.
Mirror tiles are pretty rare on it's own and you need to hit your charges which alone has already the same amount of charges as a crafted synth item with charges as implicit. You are unable to use recombinator on mirrored items in standard so they would need to get the ring base as well in order to not even have a 100% success of getting the desired mods on the synth base. It's a event with less players than a temp league and most people won't even farm stuff that they would usually farm for currency during a real league. So it's pretty much safe to say that even a dedicated group is likely not even going to hit a unethical craft gated behind insane luck within a week with a non existent supply of crafting resources. The only possible way is if they hit everything in the first try which is again unlikely to happen giving of how low the odds are.

There is literally just a single ring with +4 charges on standard and that alone tells you already how low the odds are to even recomb the charges together.


You would need a +3 charges synth base with +2 charges as prefix in order to beat the amount of current highest charges. That's possible without LoK but wasn't done by anyone before even with recombs being a thing in standard.

With Lok you would need to get a +1 charge turn into +2 charges and recomb it onto a +3 charges synth base for 5 charges. Or you would need even more insane luck to get a ring with 2 +1 prefix charges and turn them into a +4 prefix charges ring and recomb those onto a +2 or +3 charges synth base. So that's close to unlikely to happen during one week, cause remember that you can't combine mirrored items after the event.

If you dive even deeper into it it would only be great for achieving a higher amount of charges, but current prefect mirror tier gear would still outperform the 2 or 3 more charges simply because all the other mods are just on point.

It should have been an event to craft some crazy stuff for everyone. When you put these 2 events together, they should have known they made something incredible.

The issue is that many people may take 2 days just to get to maps and then even longer to complete map bonuses.

With something like this, if it's going to be 7 days, they could start us at lvl 58 or have maps already completed. it only knocks off a few hours for the 1% but opens up a lot for everyone else.

I'm not going to speculate everything they could have done. it's just disappointing that in the 1 life we get, devs almost always choose the wrong options for us to deal with.
