What is your number 1 skill balance wish for 3.23?

I'm in hopes of a new cool shield to use with spectral shield throw. Some omega op hybrid shield would be cool.

Also agree melee could use buffs numerically the skills are just on the lower end of dps while having none of the benefits of ranged abilitys.

Won't be amazed if discharge gets gutted but I wouldn't mind if cwc or coc discharge was made viable again.

Buff melee(not bonezone), the state melee is currently in is a bug.
Buff dead skills (99% of skills).

YESSS
Give skill gems that have "melee" tag without "projectile" tag, a considerable amount of flat damage that scale with gem level. Increase base radius of "melee" skill gems that have "AoE / Strike" tag by 1m. Add %attack speed to "melee" skill gems that does not have "projectile" tag.

Death Aura from Death's Oath buffed back to pvp glory days.
concoction skills need to be reworked after the 3.21 nerf

an overhaul for bane, essence drain, blight and soulrend is needed

payload type, ground targeted bow skills need to be reworked

hexblast must be nerfed

ancestral totem buffs need to be reworked

withering step must be reworked, it's so ridiculous that it's not usable with nightblade because crit based poison builds need both. ggg nerfed the interaction after the soaring of immortal LS builds but provided no compensation for crit based poison builds

traps that have a cooldown need to be reworked

and, not a skill balance but, I think nimis and returning projectiles should be removed from the game

A testing dummy would give people enough excitement to basically warrant missing a whole expansion.

I suspect only a very small minority of people would take a testing dummy instead of a new league, in order to what, play in standard? Or were you trying to say something else and I misunderstood you?

As far as skill balance for the new league, I'd like some more adjustments on damage and mechanics to make some of the more under performing skills easier and more desirable to try out and have fun with, while also still being able to do a good portion of the content comfortably without massive amounts of investment.

I don't care if the better performing and more popular skill get nerfed or not. What other players do is none of my concern, and if someone feels compelled to always play the same skills, that's on them, and again none of my concern.

As far as an actual skill, I'd like to play lacerate again. So maybe do something about the reliance on totems for some skills, do something about bleed and impale and probably some more adjustments for gladiators and i'll be all set. Is that asking for too much, though?

Nimis has a lot of gameplay limitations and downsides. Why do you think it should be removed and not Mageblood - the belt without downsides which transforms any ascendancy to Pathfinder?
Number one balance wish - fix the artificial poison cap so all poison builds can play the endgame on an even footing to other skills.
I would like them to unnerf Unleash and Burning Arrow.

Also, nerf auras while simultaneously nerfing monsters in relevant ways so that auras are not a must-have for 90% of all builds at lategame.
Put the Deadeye ascendancy on the bench for a couple of leagues(You had your time in the spotlight Legolas, kkbye).

Revive Gladiator/Berserker ascendancy along with some melee strike skills(and i mean league start viable, with slightly worse clear or whatever, not "you can play this as strenght stacking build with unique xyz, it is awesome.").

Balance some drop rates around ssf, like that darrrn sacred blossom. it is way to rare without memories.

And a new well designed pinnacle Boss would be great :)
