All this MF is actually good for the trade economy
" Good to hear bro. Yeap, that's what i meant. Like tainted oil strat. Past league Empy did a test with a character made to run blighted maps and made 23 div per hour. But with tainted oil being how it's right now, you can just throw more 4.5~5 div per map on average. If you can make a character to specifically run it, we are talking about 5 minutes per map. It can reach 80 div per hour with decent luck. Same the other ones. A lab runner, an excelent mapper. Better profit. But I don't think can beat the tainted oil scaling. Thanks for the tips too, gonna try take a look at those. Thinking about heist. Check some builds. Last edited by fenixsemcinzas on Jan 11, 2024, 2:08:23 PM

Tainted Oil used to be about a 1/10 map drop. Interesting to see that people are now claiming it's 1/1 maps.

" if y juice it up get's quite common not exactly every map, but then sometimes more than one per map. Last edited by fenixsemcinzas on Jan 11, 2024, 4:20:53 PM

OBS: the video Empy did, with that calculation, 23.5 did per hour, was with blight ravaged maps. Different than blighted maps. Maybe I wasn't clear enough about using this type of strat as templete. Is a casual topic after all, but anyways, my apologies. Yu can check the vid if you want, is legit. If you want run normal juiced blighted maps, it will be in the range of 30 div per hour with some luck, less with little luck. Last edited by fenixsemcinzas on Jan 11, 2024, 4:20:05 PM

" 100% MF as a mechanic is just plain dumb. partly, the game is about chase-items (to trade/to use), this incentivizes players to get those IIR IIQ numbers to the sky. GGG's argument is when you do MF gear, you trade off defence. well guess what, in softcore, it doesn't matter. Moreover, just a strong bow and an HH solve most issues, (kill'em b4 they kill you strat). player agency, where? "do you guys not have phones?" - blizz 2018 "do you guys not have 2 monitors, 3 overlays, 4 discord, 5 websites, 6 loot filters?" - ggg or smth 2024 "deal with it" - ggg, 2024 Last edited by iParadoxG on Jan 11, 2024, 5:28:54 PM

" The challenge league is about completing challenges having limited time, while the league is active. Nothing else. |

Why do people hate MF?
They sacrifice 1 (to 2) links in a 6-link, boots, rings, amulet, helm and chest slots for MF items that's usually don't provide any/much power otherwise. Even when using a mirrored bow, without a headhunter these builds just can't do or take that much damage. Watching Empy trying to take down a random rare with a mirrored bow, even using mageblood and it took ridiculously long. That wasn't even deli, etc. Do the people that complain about MF even play an MF character or are they just complaining about others who invest in them and see a return. Is it pure disgusting jealousy that see people wanting methods of farming removed? "They invested in their future. When they invested, I was ahead. Now they're getting a return on that investment, I'm offended." It's like saying university should be abolished because people with qualifications have the potential to out-earn those without. It sounds ignorant and uneducated. This may be one of most profitable leagues ever, though PoE 1 in its twilight years; let people enjoy it with dignity. I'm struggling to come up with new goals to keep me playing this game.

" It's all about goal-setting in the end. I couldn't care less about how much other people make with dedicated farming strategies, because I take myself out of that equation by playing in a private league, building strong characters and doing challenges. It's easy to just look at your stash and being like "man I wished I had 100s of divines" while most of those peepos just alch'n'go it's hilarious really The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge.

" It has nothing to do with what other people are doing. Some (read: a lot) of people just dislike the whole idea/philosophy behind MF, me included. The idea of deliberately gimping yourself, running low(er) level content in a game about getting as strong as possible just do not sit well with some people. And as Jonathan said in the latest Ziggy/Nugi/Raiz podcast; MF is OK, but when MF'ing low(er) level content is more profitable than doing non-MF high(er) content, it becomes a problem. Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.
