Excited for PoE 2?

We also have to remember.. POE has had X years of Content. Will POE 2 release with enough Content to make people happy ?

Path of Exile 2 will not release with as much content as Path of Exile 1's current state. To a great many of the people excited for PoE2, this is a selling point, not a drawback.

PoE1 is carrying over a decade of bloat, with so much going on that nobody who hasn't been there hardcore every single league for the entire time can ever hope to understand it. There are so many things in PoE1 that don't need to exist, and so many ways to refine what does exist into a sleeker, stronger form without sacrificing the depth people look for in the game.

My go-to example has always been Tormented Spirits. There is no god damned reason for Tormented Spirits to exist anymore. Their mechanics are obtuse and unintuitive, the 'reward' for chasing them down outside a host has been obsolete for a decade, and the idea that you're supposed to let them 'touch' as many critters as possible and possess rares for Better Drops(C) is never once communicated. It's just something you're assumed to know from experience.

PoE2 is a chance to shake the Etch-A-Sketch, wipe away all the bloat, and reintroduce things that work without having to pack them in around things that don't. As well as giving them room to indulge in another ten years of bloat. Heh.

No.

I have no reason to believe POE2 won't also have garbage, unreadable end-game fights, MTX that crashes my computer and a lifetime of performance issues.
Curious. Just curious.
I honestly don't see them doing generator spender combo systems well. I've looked at the showcases and it looks meh to me.

Poe has a ton of design flaws that if they bring into poe2 will clash with any modern systems. Imagine poe without the atlas, will that be fun on release? maybe. I don't really think GGG is going to make a campaign that is as cinematic as diablo's campaign, or as potentially interesting as lost epoch's time shifting idea (despite them not fully exploring it).

I am mostly concerned about engine performance. Considering how much MTX makes the engine crap the bed in poe1, poe2 had better get their performance locked down. The stuff they showed on stage and at cons had a lot of framerate issues. A lot of gamers may forgive an old game for having issues with modern tech, but not a brand new one.
Kinda neutral I guess? I love PoE 1, and from what I've seen from the videos
PoE 2 seems a very different game. I don't care if PoE 2 fails, but I'm also open-minded to give it a try and let it surprise me. Who knows - maybe it will be a masterpiece and much better than PoE 1. Currently I'm just happy that they decided against merging both games. Otherwise I would be very seriously concerned that the PoE 1 in its current form will be completely massacred.

I'm definitely not in the 'can't wait!' mindset, and don't care if it releases in 5 years from now. Also no matter if I end up liking it or not, I hope PoE 2 succeeds because I have a lot of respect for GGG because of PoE 1, and wish them all the success and profit in the world.

The "One game, two campaigns" trailer is still what you find there:

Doesn't seem GGG is all that excited, either. =9[.]9=

From what I've seen of poe2, I think poe1 is more my cup of tea, so I'm not super excited but I do look forward to give it a try and maybe it'll surprise me.
Nope. The game looks slow compared to POE 1

3.13 was the pinnacle of PoE. IVYS+1 Gang 4 Life.
In the videos I see how characters constantly go down almost instantly. I don't need that kind of gameplay.

Also, what about FPS and especially FPS in a group?

Well...
I'll give it a try, but I've been more negative than positive about all their reveals so far.

Crossplay is a massive mistake though.
