pretty sure that GGG have said more than once that given how game changes are noted down before handing over to be made patch notes leave a lot of room for stuff to be missed.

It dose not require this level of salt.

All these rage bait "nerf" posts cropping up

Playing slams here folks and my attack speed is more than enough.
Mash the clean
good nerf, hopefully they'll remove movement speed from onslaught and most of the tree
are u serious without this speed melee cant even be played anymore when u get MB
It would be a good nerf if they first nerfed content appropriately, and then the player speed, movement or attack. When you have to juice into full screen of buffed mobs to get at least some loot, lack of speed/dps will turn this into stationary tedium.

Wow that's unfortunate. There are so many skills that have just terrible attack speed like spectral shield throw and Shield Crush. I have resorted to using Blitz forbidden jewels instead of Aspect of Carnage. Same damage but I build plays better.
I'm struggling to come up with new goals to keep me playing this game.

It's statements like this that are part of the reason why this game feels worse and worse every league patch.
GGG only caters to their beloved league sheep and whales, majority of whom treat Standard like it doesn't exist. Not everyone enjoys temp leagues.

If you're a price fixer, item flipper, forum brown-noser or an advocate of P2Annoy MTX you're probably already ignored/muted. You won't get my items.
If ggg wants to nerf cast speed (since the attack speed is now available on tinctures) they should say so. While I don't like nerfs, they rarely make me angry. But hiding/"forgetting" nerfs and then not them addressing quickly, or even at all, really gets under my skin, and makes me distrust their future statements.

And such things need to be communicated properly without fail, rather than waiting for players to be caught by surprise and angered as a result.

do they? do they really NEED to know? is it that important?

youre playing a league, if you are in standard you still have your flasks and if you are playing in a league you have started from nothing and havent really lost anything, youre just playing in a different set of conditions thats what a league is.

its so whatever.

Wow. That is a crazy nerf. It seems the path that GGG is trying to do is make game play ALOT slower which is not a smart move on their end if that is the case because they nerfed attack speed and movement speed on a lot of things this league and that is what makes a lot of builds fun..

you can still attack probably 5x faster than when the game first launched in 2013.

if they keep on adding sources of speed, and you wont let them remove any, where does the game end up? theyre not even adding and then removing at the same rate, the game overall has been getting faster and faster and faster for 11 years, for every 1% they remove theyre adding like 4%, and youre complaining about the 1% as if it will destroy the game. at what point is the 4% destroying the game?

you cant just keep on adding sources of speed and multiplicative damage forever without occasionally removing some.

"Once upon a time" does not make a thing right or optimal, if it did the game would not have changed.

that logic goes both ways m8.

once upon a time there was 16% cast seed on a flask, now there isnt.

big deal.

I'm trying really hard to find a valid point in your replies. People are looking to understand why a BIS flask suffix was taken from every build, without being in the patch notes. It's 33% attack/cast speed with a MB, though 17% itself is enough to still be BIS on a flask.

You then go on about how we attack faster than we did in 2013 and that people don't need to know what changes are incoming. People want to plan and be efficient on league start to prevent wasting a collective million alts from people trying to roll that specific suffix.

The older you get the more valuable time becomes. Discovering undocumented changes wastes people's time IRL. Hidden substantial nerfs, especially ones that compound the effect of others are not a fun discovery to make after trying to roll flasks. Let us grieve beforehand, not all over again!
I'm struggling to come up with new goals to keep me playing this game.
