Blight Scarab of Blooming not converting maps

Hi everyone,

In a full blight atlas (all blight passives) with Blight Scarab of Blooming and Blight Scarab of Blightheart I observed that NO t14+ blighted map that dropped got converted to a blight ravaged map, even though the scarab got consumed.

I assume that this concerns the blightreach obtained by completing the blight as neither maps dropped from the blight encounter itself, nor the maps type reward chest, nor from the map boss got converted to ravaged blighted maps.

I'm having the same issue, I had 4 T14-16s drop as regular Blighted and none of them converted to Ravaged.

I used:

Blight Scarab of the Blightheart
Blight Scarab of Blooming
Blight Scarab of Invigoration
Titanic Scarab
Cartography Scarab of Escalation

I had the same issue. For me it was the blightheart chest that was a cartography reward, that got converted to blightmaps due to the blight map node in tree.

Maybe it is intented that it doesnt double convert

That might be the case, but I'm not so sure.

Just did a map with the scarab, got 1 blight ravaged map, 2 non ravaged from the Blight Cysts. I'm supposing that maybe the cysts were going to drop a regular map instead, but that doesn't really make sense, as they are intended to drop "already blighted" maps, and in that case, all 3 of the dropped maps should have been ravaged.

I had the same issue, I got a blightheart chest with the blight icon, all maps dropped as normal bight but not a single ravaged from like 10+ being t14+

In this case it's not conversion since it dropped from a blight chest so I would think this is bugged

Having this same issue, as you can see in my screenshot a T15 blighted map was dropped and should have been converted to a Blight Ravaged.

As a blight main I would really appreciate a look into this thank you!

This definitely isn't working as described. I can see why they wouldn't want it to convert twice but given the wording of the scarab and passive I don't see why it shouldn't be.

i just had 3 normal blighted maps drop in a t16 map with the scarab in effect but nothing got converted

I experienced the same issue.

I expected it to work, so I can't certainly say it's a bug or not, but I'd love to get some clarification whether the interaction of Blightreach and Blight scarab of Blooming is intended to drop only blight ravaged maps, and no blighted maps.
