Got t10 farmers relatively quick same with shippers. Its the mappers that took awhile

They want you to farm faster, so you can get gold easier.
Also get all % increase explicit mod from atlas tree so you can do something like this to get gold: "The launch day went quite well with just a few small hotfixes to address minor problems."

Does gold even count as an «item» ?
Though I could see how it would make sense in PoE1 logic for increases to quantity of items to also increase (non-container) dropped gold. (Increases to rarity have no effect, of course.) Last edited by BlueTemplar85 on Sep 26, 2024, 5:10:55 AM

" What level is your town? You need level 7 to roll into mappers. https://poedb.tw/us/Kingsmarch#Recruitment “Freedom is what we do with what is done to us.”

OP:
I fear you started trying to find mappers too late, when hunting for t8-10 mappers you should be hunting for t8-10 everything else. like one reroll gives you a lvl 8 smelter, next reroll gives you a lvl 7 mapper, and a lvl 9 enchanter. keep going and you get t7-10 within a quarter million gold. then its a huge grind to get t9-10's everywhere. ** you can actually get like 10k gold running a t5 map thats corrupted hard. with atlas points increasing quant and effect of mods you can turn 130 quant into 260 quant or more. takes more time to collect the dropped gold than to clear the mobs! " I don't know what gold counts as, but increase to rarity definitely makes you drop more of it. “Freedom is what we do with what is done to us.”

" chances are, you still need all of your lvl 10's. Make sure you are paying attention to the highest cost/hr of your lvl 10 worker types and keep an eye for cheaper ones when rerolling. The hourly wage for a lvl10 has a very large range, based on their other skills, but also just a random roll. Example, you have a lvl 10 farmer that isalso a lvl 7 mapper. Hrly wage is ~1200/hr You find a new lvl10 farmer with no other skills, wage is now 900/hr You still arent done though, lvl 10 farmers can go down to ~500/hr. This might seem like a negligible upgrade, but is very important in the long run. 18 farmers @ 900/hr x24hrs = 388.8k/day, 2.721mil/week 18 farmers @ 550/hr x24hrs = 237.6K/day, 1.663mil/week “Freedom is what we do with what is done to us.” Last edited by Piousqd on Sep 30, 2024, 9:11:49 AM

" Huh, really ?! Wow, that's a big deal ! (Especially in Bench leagues, with their ridiculous "guaranteed unique for the completion of a shipping quest", lol.) |

Yes. Gold scales with quantity, as one would imagine. But there are also new hidden monster modifiers that have been data mined that convert item drops to gold. These seem to be common enough that there is a noticeable difference in the majority of maps you do when running increased rarity.
See Settlers league specific section https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Monster_modifiers#Reward_modifiers Encourage you to test it yourself though, try putting on a gold flask and running the same 5 -10 maps and compare. I run a gold flask and increased rarity gem whenever running T16's these days “Freedom is what we do with what is done to us.”
