I just want to beat at least once for to complete challenge but rng says "f-ck you" my ships only get hijacked after i log off.try logging out of the game after you send out the ships and log back in an hour or so later and see if there was a hijack. hijacks and mapper deaths seem to happen a lot more often while people are not logged in, to slow down AFK progress. There is no rule for that. I would say there are periods of possibilities. From time to time my ship gets commadeered right after i send them, other times right after i log in and start mapping and sometimes its after a break from PoE. Sometimes is one at a week and sometimes there are three at one day. RNG is RNG. I struggled with Sasan but with one mapping device i met him like 3 or 4 times. Play the game and it will happen.
