For anyone who is coming here and receiving this message. The issue is that you have an account that does not have a Windows/PC account tied to it.

Go to: https://www.pathofexile.com/my-account/connections

You will notice that under Primary Login you do not have an email address. Add an email address here, go through the required verification steps.

Go back to: https://www.pathofexile.com/shop/redeem-key
- Redeem the key you have been provided.

Go to: https://pathofexile2.com/download
- Download the windows client.
