Poe2 Couch co-op with two accounts.

"
Is couch co-op available in Early Access?
Yes, you can play Path of Exile 2 in couch co-op mode on a single account right from the start. The second player will be able to create a character on that account.

Is that the only way to play couch co-op? I want to play couch co-op with a friend and keep the character on our respective account. Do we have to play on seperate systems for this?

Hiya, you may be able to find further information on this here.

I watched that video multiple times. It sounds like we should be able to play with two accounts on a single system. This is not working on PS5. I haven't tried another system yet.

https://youtu.be/GqYTZHX-QVE?t=213 -> mention of multiple accounts.

Is this a bug or just not in yet?
Any update on this? Facing the same issue.
Bump. Same issue and GGG advertised it clearly in the videos as a possible way to play. Now it's obviously not possible, people are asking about it and GGG doesn't respond. When will this be fixed/ implemented?
Bump as well. I have seen conflicting information on this and am wondering if it is a bug that will be fixed/just not done yet, or is this never going to happen. Couch co op is much MUCH better if a friend can stop by who already knows how to play and you both jump on vs having them start a new character. This way it is pretty much useless.

Hope we at least get a response on the long term plan for this. Not very hopeful to be honest.
Bump again. Still don’t see a way to use separate accs on couch coop. At this point, with all the bugs with couch coop, please just hire me and I will fix them myself.
Bump!

Still no news on this it seems. Maybe this will be in the new .2 update.
I have a specific problem of this kind.
I have a neighbour that uses the same wifi likein my hose. same router.
He has a pc with his Steam acc
i have a diffrent steam acc.
And i cant join him in a map (endgame)
When i load a map in my hideout he can join.
Then he cant load his maps on any map device only me.
We changed the leader but the same problem.

Really strange. And when i open map on my map device and my map he can join and we kill.

He loads a map and invite me to party then i cant see his map or join?
Im lvl 92 he is 74 Any help?

Your internet connections are not the issue, nor is using the same router etc.

Your friend needs to check ingame settings for allowing other party members and friends to access his maps. He needs to open maps in his own map device (or the endgame town area).

I do not and will not use TFT.
